  1. Ambrose Evans-Pritchard has an article in the Telegraph comparing the MAGA movement to Mao’s cultural revolution.

    Young people (the equivalent of Musk’s 19-yr-olds) were encouraged to attack China’s civil service which was deemed to be the deep state because it was inherited from the the Nationalists who had inherited it from the Qing dynasty. Posters said things like “World in great disorder: excellent situation!” and “Without destruction, there can be no construction”.

    When people dissented, they were told to “eat bitterness”, much like MAGA folk tell people to “Cry harder”.

    Can you please look at the astrology of the cultural revolution to see if there are similarities with the present.

    • Yes and no. The Uranus Pluto conjunction in Virgo was around in the mid 1960s which is only around in much much milder form now with an approaching Uranus trine Pluto. But Uranus in Trump’s chart is a key .

  2. IKEA has been done in the Polish courts today for woke. They lost a case forcing the trans onto Polish Catholics and sacking them for quoting The Bible online about not accepting the forcing of left wing extremism. The Krakow courts have upheld that “The workplace should be neutral of all propaganda and coersion”. Interesting that mainstream opinion is now being upheld. Not that people hate anything or anybody different, but having it forced onto citizens and refusing to allow people to have a different opinion.

  3. I just listened to Finnish podcast featuring Tero Kuittinen, the first stock analyst in a NY firm who moved Nokia to “sell” in 2008. He is now in market entry consulting, and has extensive networks to financial press. The guy is very frank, and says that the likely scenario with Trump’s intended tariffs not even counting those to EU (this was recorded maybe a week ago), the US inflation will hit 4 % in two months, a limit where people stop consuming. Now, I think that would coincide with the astrologically sensitive period.

    Hilarious or scary tidbits on Trump here and there: Apparently, Trump is targeting Denmark, because the former Queen snubbed him in 1992. Also, since the casters are guys in their 20’s, he has to explain the hold portraying Trump as a business guru in tv for 10 years has to people in their 40’s and 50’s.

  5. Marjorie, could you please take a look at Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut? He was born in White Plains, NY, August 3, 1973, though I don’t know where to look for a time of birth.

    Along with Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and Jasmine Crockett of Texas, he’s been one of the few effective voices in Congress speaking out against the Trump/Musk/Republican rampage, issuing daily two-minute videos. He gained national prominence after the Sandy Hook massacre and became a loud voice for gun control.

    Does he have a future in leadership in the US?

  6. According to The Independent, one of Musk’s hackers at DOGE is the grandson of a KGB spy. This kid goes by the nickname, “Big Balls,” and his last name is Corsitine. I think he’s 19. Would you please check out his entire family? Thank you.

    • @Amelia Pettyfor, I don’t think any of the DOGE boys full date of birth is publicly accessable.

      Edward Coristine’s grandfather would have been Valery Martynov, a double agent “burned” by Aldrich Ames and double defector Yurchenko and executed in 1987, when Glasnost was at full swing. Wikipedia does not list his DOB, either. Anyhow, Coristine would have never met his grandfather and it’s possible even his mother’s memories are shaky, since she would have likely been a child at the time.

  9. Noting the knock on effect of Trump’s Uranian tear up has pushed Keir Starmer to change direction on last year’s Manifesto and increase defence spending / cut international aid. This week’s New Moon in Pisces falling directly opposite his Virgo Sun-Pluto as he travels to Washington.

    • Interesting spot GD! The fishy stellium swims below the horizon for the UK New Moon, with Uranus at the descendant suggesting what changes for alliances I wonder….. I’m also wondering about the square to Jupiter (General, King, religious leader?). Also, at 9 Gemini, the Watcher of the East, Aldebaran, one of the four Royal Stars of Persia. Said to be a star of great energy, and sometimes war-like.

    “A senior Ukrainian official tells the BBC that the US and Ukraine have agreed the terms of an agreement that relates to critical minerals and other resources. We have indeed agreed it with a number of good amendments and see it as a positive outcome, the official says.”

    The White House is yet to confirm that the deal has been agreed. The BBC has asked for comment from the US side.

      Try taking a look at Bulgaria. Itbis the most affordable of all EU countries.You have to live there 5 years before becoming a citizen. While you technically can’t buy property until you are a citizen, most get round this by registering a business, which allows them to buy a house or flat.

    At about 26 minutes in, they mention that he got the job by visiting Elizabeth and casting her horoscope, that of her sister Mary and that of Philip of Spain’s. Mary’s and Philip’s were negative, which meant Elizabeth would be queen. (The reason Dee approached Elizabeth in the first place was he was certain she would be queen and he needed to secure his job). Incredible how these old astrologers predicted changes of leadership.

  13. Could you look at the charts of Joe Orton and Kenneth Haliwell Marjorie? What star-cursed genius pair that met by chance. Like Frank and Rita in Educating Rita, changed places in power and talent. Then that tumultuous end. How could such a meeting and such brilliant plays and such extreme macabre comedy that fitted its time so well, well….How did these two cross paths as Capricorn and Cancer. And how did it sort of magnatise into such a horrific end. The end of the pair of them was so so like the grotequery of Entertaining Mr. Sloane. So chilling, so hilariously outrageously ironic and ugly. I watched Prick Up Your Ears and was fascinated by the fate of such a meeting. I honestly think the film of Entertaining Mr. Sloane is the most outrageous film that was ever made. Even today, especially today, to see something as grotesque and interpretation of actually what is around us in behaviour, but exagggerated to bring it to our attention. Well, it’s genius. But for me that film is breathtaking, a body blow and so utterly bitterly hilarious and so bitingly British. Appreciate if you could look at the astrology of how Orton and Halliwell could have crossed and burned out with almost synchronicity? Love your channel Marjorie. Magic!

    • @Xhane, I briefly dived into this in one of the threads and find this interesting, too. Lavrov’s Sun is on Pisces/Aries cusp, so he will be deeply affected by Neptune/Saturn. And by the wat, I feel deeply sorry for American people for what ever he is negotiating on with Rubio. Rubio is SO out of his league with Lavrov, he is a really smooth operator and makes people feel they have a special relationship with him.

  17. Dear Marjorie, I wonder if you could do a piece on the likelihood of East Germany gaining autonomy or even independence. Politically it feels a different state from the former East Germany. I did an analysis on the political makeup of the West German Laender confirming that.

  18. Good afternoon (morning here). Astro assessment of the Germany elections. AfD arrived in 2nd place…so far. Will this materially affect the EU along with calming Mr Trump’s aspirations to annex Ukraine ?

    • BSW (a new party that is socially right-wing/anti-immigration, fiscally left-wing/formed by a former leader of The Left party) lost out on any seats in the Bundestag by just 0.02% of the vote (parties need to get a minimum of 5% of the vote to get any seats in the Bundestag and the BSW got 4.98%).

      The absence of this party means that Merz will likely form a Grand Coalition (GroKo – Grosse Koalition) with the SPD.

      Had the BSW won seats in the Bundestag, the seat shares of the CDU/CSU Union and the SPD would have been lower and the governing coalition would have required at least three parties to form a majority in the Bundestag.

      The next Chancellor will be formally elected by the Bundestag after a coalition agreement is reached, expected to be around Easter.

      But in the meanwhile, Scholz remains Chancellor in a caretaker capacity and will likely act on any topic only after consulting Merz.

      Marjorie, apologies for the non-astrological post. I’m merely attempting to give non-Europeans an understanding of how German elections work.

        • Unmystic Mom, Linke’s stance has been more pacifist than really soft on Russia. They are socially liberal, and therefore against much of what Putin stands for. Their pacifism might shed really quickly when they realize the US won’t come to their or Ukrainians’ help anymore. They might actually also see upside in fortifying European defence. The older generation in particular was always if not anti-American, not really aligned with certain “establishment”.

          This is of course speculative, but if the example of Finnish Left’s quick change in Nato support is anything to go by, there might be quick realignment when people realize we are on our own now.

    I know you’re not to keen on retrogrades, but if perhaps with a post on the 29 March eclipse (in the Vedic constellation of Uttara Bhadrapada), you could tell us more about the upcoming Mercury (14 March – 7 April) and Venus retrograde (1 March – 12 April). Sun and Moon will fall in the Scorpio navamsha on the day of the eclipse, and, astrologers say, that will add to the intensity of the event.

    Both planets will be combust during March: Venus from 18 to 28 and Mercury from 17 to 31, both in the Vedic constellation of Pisces.

    14 March is lunar eclipse in the Vedic sign of Leo (Uttara Phalguni), and the Sun and Moon are in the final degrees, Vedically, of both Leo and Aquarius. Vedic astrologers say this “creates a powerful transformative quality, with a sense of tipping over from one state into another”.

      Coincidentally March 14th is when the current continuing resolution which funds the U.S. government expires.
      Lots of people are expecting an extended shut down because Republicans can’t get their acts together.

        For the total lunar eclipse, Moon is at the 24th degree of Virgo:

  20. M: Thank you so much for all of your work. I was wondering if you could work your magic on the District of Comumbia’s natal chart (September 9, 1791, time unknown).
    Fate seems to want to play a role, as its Sun is 16′ 24′ Virgo and its MC is 17′ 08″ Pisces (approaching Nodes); added to which its ASC is 7′ 45″ Cancer (approaching Jupiter).
    Currently, Mars is just about to turn direct on the MC (appropriate, given the past few weeks) and Saturn has just passed over that angle. The capitol has had such a tumultuous history – physically, that I’d like to not see it return to the horrible times of the 70’s and 80’s.

      • I was making reference to the fact that DC never really recovered from Covid, as everyone continued to work from home and the office buildings were empty — and all the services for city workers (food vendors, retailers, hairstylist, gyms, etc, etc.) have gone without customers and a lot have gone out of business. Now, with Musk/Trump cannabalizing the federal agencies/workers — and threatening to end a lot of office leases. It could really be the dangerous ghost town it was decades ago. There actions, also, threaten the entire DC region’s economy/housing market.

        • Granted Los Angeles is not full of Federal workers but we also have seen empty offices & restaurants & businesses that catered to workers are failing. Lots of shops are sitting empty—both on the large boulevards, shopping areas and malls. San Francisco has been written about extensively but I can tell you Covid made a huge impact here in Los Angeles (city is 3 million people, county is pop of 10 million.)

          the change to doing online work and shopping has changed street life.

    • Coffee just kicked in: I mistakenly wrote “time unknown”, but the chart used on Astrotheme has 12AM start, as I believe it was previously decided that would be the day; unlike a lot of other commencements where something is actually signed and 12PM is used when a time is, in fact, unknown.
