Your Jupiter summary was so interesting. And i am so happy you disclosed your feeling over bird augury. Like you I am strongly Jupiterian with Sun trine Jupiter in Pisces and Sag rising. (Jupiter is in the eigth) and for me it isnt magpies but crows, ravens that have brought messages. Just before having my first baby, I was walking in the hospital garden and saw a huge raven in a tree and knew something would go wrong. The baby was stillborn. When my father died, we came home from the funeral to my mothers home and a white dove was sitting over the door in the fanlight and wouldnt move for three days. Mum was convinced it was Dad. Trees also seem to indicate deaths. I have often found a favourite tree dies just before its owner goes. What would trees be associated with,I wonder?
So no way would anyone say you were mad to speak of the meaning of birds or strange events in nature. Guess Jung would call it synchronicity.
Just love your site, Marjorie.
Wow Marjorie
As I have followed your writings you have been seeing for a number of years that the stresses and strains in the land of Brangelina. Well today’s Daily Mail headlines say she is filing for divorce after discovering he is having an affair with his French co-star Marion Cotillard, 30 September 1975. Better fit??
The link above hints of a tie with the popular vote…and Hillary eeking out a win ahead of Drompf in electoral college votes.
The bombings in NYC don’t help matters at all.
I am beginning to think that the ending of “The Veep” was prescient, with the Electoral College splitting 269-269, and in real life, perhaps we could have the added frisson of a faithless elector. That would then throw the contest to the House of Representatives, which however vote by state. That would mark the end of an exciting and historic electoral cycle.
Marjorie, the focus has been on the presidential race, but it is likely that the Congressional races and in particular the Senate race may prove to be most decisive, especially if it helps decide the future of SCOTUS (the Supreme Court). Do you see anything interesting in the stars for the 115th Congress, the Senate and the Supreme Court?
Relevant Dates;
The 115th Congress will take over on January 4, 2017.
The US Senate first met on April 6, 1789
The US Supreme Court was established on September 24, 1789.
All dates from Wikipedia.
Hi Marjorie
Something on a very light note ……
I’m curious! Could you have a look at Khloe Kardashian’s birth chart please – June 27, 1984, 10:55 PM, LA (according to Astrotheme).
She seems to have a type for sure …….
Looking forward to it
Thanks
Dear Marjorie,
Can you cast horoscopes for both the upcoming French presidential elections (which my intuition tells me will end in a second round between Marine le Pen and Nicholas Sarkozy) and for the German Bundestag elections due in autumn 2017.
This is what I got off Wikipedia for the dates for the Bundestag elections
“Since the current Bundestag first sat on 22 October 2013, the latest date for the next election is 22 October 2017 (a Sunday). The earliest date is 27 August 2017, the first Sunday after 22 August. By convention, recent elections have been held in late September, avoiding the school holidays.”
Again, as per Wikipedia, the dates for the French presidential elections are 23 April and 7 May 2017.
Also, can you comment on the bomb blast in New York?
Hi Marjorie, thank you for the great post about Uranus.
Could you please tell more about Aquarius moon and relationship with parents/mother?
Sorry to bother you, but everything I find is just superficial. I’m Sun AND Moon Aquarius, about to turn 30, having a hard time rethinking my relationship with my parents, especially my mother, and totally identified myself with each part of: “Uranus in hard aspect to Sun or Moon suggests parents who were erratic, unpredictable, didn’t relate well and fostered a forced independence on the child, which is not a great model for adult relationships.” I used to think I had the best parents until few time ago, but recently I’m feeling like I’d been kindly manipulated by them. I know it’s not a nice thing to say and I hate victimism, but the feeling of guilty I have everytime I disagree from them is what make me think manipulation is the right word.
My mother is Aries or Taurus (4/20/1960) – I think Aries fits better – and my father is an authentic Sagittarian.
C, Tricky to say without seeing your chart, since it isn’t only how the parent is but also how you as an individual experience them. Different siblings can hook into different traits in the parents. Your mother from her dob has an Earth Grand Trine of Taurus Sun (probably) trine Pluto trine Jupiter so is confident and controlling. Plus Saturn in Capricorn square Venus, so not a great emotional childhood herself, tough, bleak, unloving; and probably an Aquarius Moon opposition Uranus, so she had an erratic, unpredictable mother herself. Manipulation and subtle guilt-laying can be a Pluto trait, since it manoeuvres for control and gets very fearful when control seems to be slipping away. Seeing parents clearly and separating out from them is a painful business – on both sides – but necessary, if you are to re-fashion a more mature, adult relationship in future. But for that to happen, they need to step up to the mark as well as you.
Hi C, sorry I hope you don’t mind me responding as well, but as another lunar Aquarian I agree with Marjorie. Sometimes outside circumstances can be at play as well as the mother’s own experience, but it can take time to realise and I don’t think I did 100% until after my Saturn return. I have Saturn widely opposite my Moon, but my mother’s Mars/Saturn/Pluto conjunction opposed it much more tightly! On paper it looks like we should have had an awful relationship and I even hesitate to talk about this as it seems so heavy, but suffice to say she suffered tragedy and illness most of my life (things got worse for her after 30). I remember willing myself to grow up faster so I could just give her a break. Unfortunately, she died just as I got the chance to do that properly. We would clash from time to time, it seemed to me that she always had to be right about everything – now at my age I find myself thinking “Mum was right about that!”. Now I have two of my own – one with Uranus square Moon and the other with Moon in Aquarius at exactly the same degree, and I was going to be oh so different….;)
Hello Marjorie,
Thank you for this your wonderful website, which gives much pleasure. Appreciated.
I’m wondering if you if you wouldn’t mind looking at Dianne James, new leader of UKiP.
Thank you.
Kind regards.
