Bryan Singer, director of the very successful Freddie Mercury bio-pic Bohemian Rhapsody until he was fired just before the end of shooting, has been the subject of an expose by The Atlantic alleging sexual misconduct that has haunted him throughout his career. Singer was born 17 September 1965, the same day as the Kim Davis, the Kentucky county clerk jailed for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, and a week after Bashar Assad of Syria. He is a Sun Virgo, with chaotic Uranus Mercury Pluto in Virgo opposition Saturn in Pisces probably square a Gemini Moon, and sextile Mars Neptune in Scorpio. He also has Venus in Scorpio.
Not an easy personality, that’s for sure, and emotionally all over the place. Over the years various allegations have been made against him from underage boys (see wiki) which were dismissed but have revived with the Spacey scandal erupting.
Tr Neptune has been undermining his Uranus, Mercury, Pluto through last year and this; but more significantly his Solar Arc Sun has moved to conjunct his Neptune now and then his Mars in a year’s time – the first of which will weaken and compromise him; and the second usually brings a collision of sorts. So instead of victims being buried beneath a tsunami of denials, it’ll be his turn to sink below the surface.

I am also a Virgo and am dismayed to see how many misbehaving Virgos (esp in Trump’s entourage) are in the news (even the defunct – I have no more doubts about Jackson’s guilt); what happened to good manners and being considerate – or at the very least, ‘unobtrusive’ as we are supposed to be 😉 ? In my own extended family, I’ve had to deal with a Virgo brother who becomes nasty for no discernible reason other than his mood, and had to ‘unfriend’ a nastier, racist Trump-supporting Virgo cousin (by marriage).
Even some of the women (last year) – Rose McGowan, and Asia Argento – although they were also abused, and it wasn’t clear what they actually did or didn’t do.
I know that these are just the ones that make the headlines, but they sure seem to be more numerous than usual. Is something going on ?

Fear not, Optimistic! My own astrology could look pretty damning on paper. Not only do I have Mars conjunct Neptune (like Singer) conjunct Moon conjunct Mercury in darkest Scorpio, but I also have Pluto rising in house 12, Sun square Saturn (the only aspect to my Sun, other than a stressful minor aspect to Chiron), while my Saturn conjuncts Jupiter in the 5th in Capricorn. An individual’s astrology can manifest on all different kinds of levels – one Scorpio Mars-Neptune can be power-moded, using manipulative methods to gain power over others, and another, a skilled dancer, photographer, actor or yoga practitioner and of course, also much depends on house position.

Neptune has a much more devastating effect on ambition-hungry, ego-maniacs and materialists. For us lesser mortals it may just coincide with a phase of feeling less energetic and less focussed. Depends really what you do with your Mars Neptune. Solar Arc Sun conjunct Mars or vice versa can be a wake up call and quite argumentative.

Thanks Marjorie. Like Savile, Singer hides in plain sight and his behaviour has been an open secret for years. Despite this, his studio, ‘Millenium’ has employed him to work on the remake of ‘Red Sonja’. Millenium’s CEO, Avi Lerner has been vociferous in his support Singer throughout, though Avi Lerner himself has faced numerous allegations of sexual harassment by employees. It’s a nest of vipers.
Just one observation – Mars conjunct Neptune in Scorpio can be more slippery than an eel in an oil slick.
And not just slippery, can have a deeply unpleasant streak.
Well I have this aspect too, though it’s well aspected. I always thought it was one of the reasons I found it difficult to assert myself when younger. I’ve seen it in the charts of some very untrustworthy and manipulative people though.
