UK Labour Party – waiting for change + Update

That Jeremy Corbyn will follow Theresa May out of office seems almost certain as is often the way with political opponents. One falls, the other succumbs to the same forces of gravity in time as well.

His Leadership chart 24 September 2016 12.51pm indicates gloom and discouragement, maybe even an exit when tr Saturn opposes the Moon and is conjunct Pluto now through August till early September, and again October to early November this year. Failing that the major upheaval comes with tr Pluto square the Uranus which is most often a topple-off-perch moment which occurred earlier this year and again after mid January through February 2020, and twice more before the end of the year. His relations with both Labour Party charts are on a separating trajectory from now till this year end.

His own chart, another multiple Gemini, is sliding into confusion this autumn with tr Neptune square Mercury with a lucky break and great relief late December over the New Year into January – perhaps the latter is casting off the shackles of office which he never expected and doesn’t seem to much enjoy.

Of the possibles to replace him – there are four names at the top of the betting. Angela Rayner and Rebecca Long-Bailey can be discounted for the next couple of years since Neptune is putting sinkholes in their way.

Emily Thornberry, 27 July 1960, has some cheer late this September into October; and again over the New Year, with a couple more Jupiters running through 2020; though she’s also got a frustratingly trapped influences from this November and major glitches over the |New Year; and a discouraging tr Pluto square Sun/Saturn from February. Worse from late March onwards courtesy of a catastrophic tr Neptune conjunct her Mars/Saturn midpoint on and off into 2021. Her relations with the Labour Party 1900 chart aren’t encouraging for the next three years.

Keir Starmer, 2 September 1962, like Emily Thornberry to a degree has very mixed influences. There’s a stuck Solar Arc Sun Pluto square Saturn over the next few months which will bring a mighty struggle. He’ll get uplift from tr Uranus conjunct his Solar Arc Jupiter mid November to mid December. But really when his luck is in will be around May 2020 as tr Uranus is conjunct his Mars/Jupiter midpoint and sextile his natal Jupiter; with radical changes in his life, lifestyle and direction from June 2020 with tr Uranus trine his Sun and Pluto, which are the driving planets of the central configuration of his chart – a Water Grand Trine formed into a Kite.

Yvette Cooper, 20 March 19679, is a rank outsider in the betting at the moment which may not mean much. She upbeat late September to mid October and rattled from then till mid November. On the whole her 2020/2021 look discouraging with tr Pluto square her Saturn at 24 Aries and then square her Saturn/Venus and Venus in the two years following.

On the face of it – without birth times – Starmer looks the most likely, though not perhaps until next year.

  1. Thanks Marjorie for this and your other posts ( and for Leo’s posts here). I must say that it seems quite static to me at the moment with so many planets either retrospective or stationary. It is rather like the clouds gathering for one almighty storm which will upset us all before Jupiter comes to restore order when it enters Capricorn late this y ear.
I wonder now whether the effect of all this is that we must suffer a no deal Brexit, a Corbyn government and another recession before we start dealing with issues according to the evidence of the real world. It also seems to me that the next election is an election to lose with the darkening economic and world situation.

    • Roll on the storm – everything does feel stuck and in chaos at the moment – everywhere. Would be good to clear the air and even if it all goes up in the air, at least have a chance to reassemble the pieces.

      • Anything on Jo Swinson, her leadership chart, & the Lib Dem’s chart? Also, Nicola Sturgeon, the SNP, Scotland & the UK charts? Should be fascinating.

      • Thanks Marjorie for this. I was reminded of a card or book cover on the history of the seventies published in 1980 which showed the then 3 party leaders, Harold Wilson, Edward Heath and Jeremy Thorpe at the cenotaph with the label “Lest we forget”. By that time we had Callaghan, Thatcher and David Steel who at least dealt in the real world. That said all those politicians (excepting Thorpe) look much better in retrospect than they did then. I find it difficult to see any redeeming feature in the current lot. If nothing else they are going to stand as an example of how not to do things.

  2. A GE will most likely have taken place by mid 2020. Corbyn will only be deposed as leader if Labour lose, although the regurgiated attempts to get rid of him before won’t stop. For the SA Corbyn leadership 2016 chart, I note with interest, that the SA Sun at 4 deg. Libra is currently conjunct the Moon at 4 Libra for the 12/02/1906 Parlimentary Labour Party chart. I also note with interest, in the SA Corbyn leadership 2016 chart, that the SA Moon is situated at 18 deg. Cancer, & next year, it will conjunct the Moon in the UK 1801 chart at 19 deg. Cancer.

As noted, tr Pluto will square Uranus in the Corbyn leadership 2016 chart throughout 2020. Could tr Jupiter joining forces with Pluto mitigate this, or make things worse?

With the upcoming Saturn Pluto conjunction in Capricorn & the lunar eclipse in January 2020, Boris’ govt. will not survive for long, I personally don’t think. He has really terrible aspects next year as well. The Faragisation of the Conservative Party ( now the BXP v.2) under Boris’ stewardship is music to the ears for the opposition.

    • * The UK 1801 chart has a 7 deg. Libra Ascendant, if that is accurate, and again, I observe with interest, SA Jupiter for the SA Corbyn leadership 2016 chart is currently situated at 6 deg. Libra, whatever that means, if anything, in the upcoming year.

      • *The Boxing Day 2019 solar eclipse has Sun & Moon at 4 deg. Capricorn conjunct Jupiter at 5 deg. Capricorn which triggers Jupiter at 3 deg. Libra in the Corbyn leadership 2016 chart, and more crucially perhaps, triggers SA Jupiter (6 deg. Libra) & SA Sun (4 deg. Libra) for the SA Corbyn leadership 2016 chart. One way or another, it appears Corbyn’s 2016 leadership chart is being activated in the next 12 months.

  3. If November to Feb is very bad for the Tories and equally not as good for Labour/Corbyn I hope this doesn’t suggest No Deal has happened. Unless there is a snap election and Labour/Tories are both unable to form a majority. Anything on the Lib Dem or Jo Swinson chart for the same period?

  4. Marjorie,
Do you see a split occuring in the Labour Party? A pro-Remain socially liberal (New) Labour Party vs a Corbynite/Momentum dominated Labour Party?

  5. Doesn’t Trump’s term chart have transiting Pluto squaring it’s Uranus
    this September and October?A fall
    off the perch moment?And transiting
Saturn will conjunct that 9th house
Pluto in late November. Can’t be singing and dancing.
