Kate & Will No 3 – a maverick Taurus ** updated

Another Royal arrived this morning at 11.01am as the Duchess of Cambridge delivered her third child, a boy, now fifth in line to the throne, with Prince William in attendance.

He has his Sun and Venus in Taurus, so similar to Princess Charlotte with her Sun and Mars in Taurus – and chiming with Prince William’s Venus in Taurus and the Queen’s Sun and Prince Charles’s Moon. Prince George, the eldest child, is a last degree Cancer Sun.

This one has a flamboyant Leo Moon below his Cancer Ascendant, sitting as a singleton, accentuating emotional sensitivity but also indicating a knack of connecting with the public. He has Uranus in his 10th conjunct his Sun, so will be a maverick who insists on following his own path.

I’d worry marginally about a challenging collection of Saturn and a Mars Pluto conjunction all in Capricorn in his 6th house of health and work. There could be health issues requiring care, perhaps most obviously over his early years as the Mars Pluto draws to exact in about 18 months’ time. He’ll be drawn to work in crises areas; will be resourceful in the face of danger but also unduly stubborn, perhaps given to tantrums.

Like both his parents he has Jupiter in Scorpio, normally good for money; and he has a leadership-quality Leo North Node.

His relationships with both parents and two siblings do seem unduly fraught. The relationship chart with his mother has an emphasised Mars Saturn trine Moon trine Venus. With his father the same Mars Saturn and Pluto opposition Sun Venus; with composite Moon trine Mars Saturn. With Charlotte – a Mars square Saturn and muddled Moon aspects. With George – a composite Sun opposition Saturn and Saturn trine Mars; and Venus opposition Pluto square Mars and Uranus. He’s either going to be the wild child par excellence or there’ll be some other reason for all the angst and aggravation.

Mars Pluto tends to run through the Queen’s relationships with her close family which reflects the power imbalance and need to toe the monarchical line. The Queen’s relationship with Philip has a composite Mars opposition Saturn which reflects the sacrifice he had to make in terms of suppressing his individuality to fit in. Mars is to do with assertion – I am, I choose. Where it is heavily restricted it breeds resentment.

  1. There is also Phorphiria (dont know how to spell) last one known to have it was William the brother of the current Duke of Gloucester

  2. He’s terribly earthy and has much cardinality = action…no mutable planets, so pretty inflexible. However the late degrees of Cancer rising make for a sensitivity which is hard to define, it’s associated with being mediumistic, psychic. I have a new grandson born a month ago with the Mars/Saturn/Pluto (!!!) – his is right on the MC which is some relief (though not entirely!). This baby’s in the 6th does indeed have the possibility of health issues, though Jupiter rules that house and also trines the ascendant. He is more likely to have chronic conditions, i.e. can manage anyway….I tried to find some signatures for that old royal disease haemophilia, I am sure Charles Carter did something on ibut can’t find it……Uranus is his vocational indicator which makes him resourceful and exceptionally independent, he’s an experimenter and will step outside the royal guidelines. He has much insight and possibly high intelligence with his Moon/Mercury trine, which has an outlet near the ascendant. I notice the Sun Moon square – which is approaching, so the relationship between the parents was tense around the conception…..I htink he’d loathe to be in his siblings’ shoes and will thank the gods for allowing him to come 3rd! Nothing means as much as freedom to him….

    • Thanks Maggy. On quick look – below has some hints from Addey and Harvey.

To substantiate his point, Addey provides personal data on his paternal grandparents, his father, himself, and his three children because he knew all of their exact birth times. Addey also provides data on Queen Victoria, a hemophilia carrier, who passed on the hereditary blood disease to one son and two daughters. Citing Harvey’s article, Addey claims that the affected descendants with hemophilia repeat the Saturn and Mars/Saturn midpoint by 45º aspect (involving appropriate significators) and within extremely narrow orbs.
Harvey, in a much shorter article, focuses on just the descent of hemophilia from Queen Victoria. Harvey discovers highly specific astrological correlates for the 24 hemophiliac and hemophilia-carrier descendants plus non-hemophiliac siblings for whom data are known. Strikingly, the sensitive point of Queen Victoria’s horoscope with Saturn at 28º46’ Pisces and her Mars/Saturn midpoint at 8º10’ Aries are duplicated in her descendants who suffered from or were carriers of hemophilia by 45º aspect. Harvey concludes that Saturn and the Mars/Saturn midpoint symbolize the hereditary deficiency of hemophilia. He explains that Jupiter has traditional rulership of blood while Sun/Jupiter is related the the regeneration of blood. Harvey also provides a simplified cosmic and hereditary pedigree for Queen Victoria over 4 generations.

    • I had no idea haemophilia was still around….though why, I wonder, do royals get it? I’ve never met, nor heard of anyone in my lifetime who had it despite living in many places round the world. Apparently Jupiter rules blood (didn’t know that either, I thought Mars did) but there are degrees of haemophilia. Anyway, let’s hope he’s sound as a bell and the Mars/Pluto/Saturn signifies a fanatical worker…….or wonky teeth and a tendency to bungy jump off palaces!
His Venus is pretty stunning, benasp just about all other planets and the asc and MC…..he’s tremendously attractive to others, and popular with the people. Pluto opp asc adds great appeal. He’s a hard worker, probably inherited from the Middleton line! Wondering if Michael/Philip might be the name, Albert sounds very unlike this chart, he’d probably change it by the time he was four….

      • Maggy, I think haemophilia as the royal disease has its origins in intermarrying for which The House of Hanover was famous. Victoria’s heirs married into European royal families and so it spread amongst the royals. Victoria and Albert were first cousins and even Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip are related by both being the great, great grandchildren of Victoria. It’s a fascinating subject.

        • Greta, thanks for that……but in many cultures there is close inter-marriage, so now I’m curious about the incidence of haemophilia in those situations. It seems like an old fashioned thing, and it is great for the royals mixing naturally selected genes with theirs……I suppose the chances of the haemophilia recurring greatly decrease then. Wonder when they’ll name him….

          • There were some rumours that the gene that Queen Victoria carried which was responsible for haemophilia was passed to her by her father and it was suggested that it was not Edward Duke of Kent!

  3. Maybe he will be a lot like Harry, but a stronger character, meaning lets passive about things. Not implying there is anything wrong with Harry he is just very easygoing.

  4. You can see already that George is the introvert of the family (as per your post last Summer Marjorie). How will he relate to his siblings I wonder?

    • Thanks for the update regarding his relationship with the rest of his immediate family – makes for interesting reading and an interesting future

  5. Diana had a Venus in Taurus too – i thought william had venus in cancer?

Marjorie, i remember you wrote as charlotte as george had complicated charts, do you think the new baby also have a complicated chart?

  6. Doesn’t Pippa has Leo moon? I’m not very optimistic about the number 3 (lower position in the line) having this moon. I’m afraid it can be a synonyms of not knowing their place.

    • This baby’s Leo Moon is conjunct his North Node. He will find life exciting and a challenge. Marjorie is right he will tend to be a maverick Royal, finding his own way in life; there are indications that he will care very much about a good cause, perhaps the environment and find his place in life through that – potentially recognition too.

      • And with that Sun/Uranus he’d probably find all the pressure the heir has to conform to a certain public role extremely limiting.
