Moon detriment in Scorpio is one of those astrological tradition “wisdoms” I have hard time swallowing. Yes, it exposes people with the placement to pain, but also produces people like Beltrame capable of extreme sacrifices.
A brave man indeed. This lunar placement gets a bad reputation in traditional astrology. In the ‘Chirotic Journal’ blog however, the author describes the Scorpio moon as being one of the most compassionate, because the native’s feelings run so deep.
I’m interested in the Sun/Chiron at the top of the chart too. Chiron sacrificed himself in order to release Prometheus. Sometimes the planets manifest in an uncannily literal manner.
