Jennifer Aniston has ‘lovingly’ separated from her actor husband of two years Justin Theroux, swearing they’ll have a ‘cherished friendship’ ahead. Another fan fairy-tale blown apart. According to reports she didn’t share his upmarket-hippy New York lifestyle, preferring to live in hotels or LA.
Born 11 February 1969 10.22pm Los Angeles, she doesn’t have the easiest chart, despite her ditzy-blonde, girlish demeanour. Her Aquarius Sun is in a showbizzy and argumentative and stubborn square to Mars Neptune in Scorpio; and is also on one leg of a Yod in sextile to Saturn in forced-to-be-self-reliant Aries inconjunct Pluto. The latter will make her fairly Plutonic – extreme views, not flexible, inclined to manipulate. Her Venus in Aries in her hard-working 6th house is in an unpredictable and constantly-changing opposition to Uranus Jupiter in Libra. Her outspoken Sagittarius Moon is in a possessive square to Pluto and a cool trine to Saturn. She’ll tend to confuse partners with her contradictory demands.
On the face of it, there was a match to be made since she’s an Air Sun with a Fire Moon and Venus; while he has a Fire Sun and Venus in Leo and a Fire Aries Moon. But both are fairly Fixed, and Martian (combative) and not overly practical.
Their relationship chart isn’t too encouraging with a composite Sun Saturn, good for work but not so much for an emotional connection; the Sun is trine Pluto and Saturn trines Mars – so there would be a fair amount of pushing and pulling for control as well as aggravations which grew into resentments. The composite Sun is also widely opposition Neptune, so a dream and an illusion that can’t cope with reality; the composite Venus is trine Uranus, adventurous but needs space; and a Mars square Uranus is explosive since neither wishes to compromise on what they want. The composite Moon may square Saturn which again is blocked and cool. So not a lot going for it.
She has had tr Uranus square her Sun/Moon midpoint in 2017 which is often a marriage splitter and tr Uranus now into her 7th house of relationships for several years ahead, which will find her searching for a looser, less conventional relationship. She’s also got tr Saturn square her Uranus Jupiter and Venus this year, plus a dreary tr Pluto square her Yod focal point Saturn in 2018/2019, all of which is downbeat and discouraging. Plus her Progressed Moon going through her 12th for another 18 months which is usually inward-looking and not exactly ecstatic.
Her admirers want her back with Brad Pitt, but that relationship was, if anything worse. Her Saturn squares his Moon Venus in Capricorn; and his Saturn is conjunct her Sun and square her Mars – and that’s blocked every which way on an emotional level. Her Sagittarius Moon admittedly is conjunct his Sun which is good, but that’s about all it has going for it. Their relationship chart has a composite Sun trine a constantly-changing Uranus Pluto, sextile Neptune; with Saturn opposition Uranus Pluto and trine Neptune – constantly on edge and disappointing; and an aggravating, unfair-treatment Mars square Saturn. The composite Moon and Venus are sparsely aspected with only links to Jupiter, which would give a superficial gloss but not enough to overcome the other problems.
Behind the Hollywood gloss and glitter, nothing is much the way it seems.
I’m looking at that 5th house node in the JT/JA composite chart and wondering what it reveals.
Recently JA had made.statements that the public/trollers don’t know what obstacles she has dealt with regarding having children.
From what I have gathered, Brad wanted a family, and Jennifer saw herself becoming a significant movie star.
Jennifer’s sun is in Aquarius, moon is in Sag, and Venus is in Aries. Those are all placements known for independence and detachment (Aquarius). The only planets keeping her with Justin was her Venus and his moon. His mars is almost conjunct her moon. That’s arguments all day.
Google Sun conj Saturn synastry and see what so many happily married wives are saying. Of course there have to be good other synastric aspects but this one is a huge bond you dismiss too much.
I have it too with the love of my life. My sun conj his Saturn. I am 2 days younger than Jennifer so have many similar planetary aspects.
In my real life experience of the Sun/Saturn conjunction, this is a man I can totally rely on. Someone who will sacrifice for me, without being asked to. Someone who seems to get joy from my company and I certainly do from his! He mentors me in a non controlling way. He stands by me and asks nothing in return. He was the first to mention a soulmate bond 10 years ago. He was the first to say he loved me etc etc. I am his sunshine. There is nothing dark or shadowy about our connection. Quite the opposite. His existence fills me with joy. I do get reminded of some of my less mature ways just because he is so much wiser, responsible etc. But never once has he criticized me.
A man’s Saturn conjunct a woman’s Sun has been researched to be an extremely binding force – it is extremely common in long-lasting marriages.
Brad (Saturn) is paternalistic to Jen and sees her as the light of his life (sun). She is sunshine to him. He used to nickname her “Golden”.
Disappointing analysis Marjorie. You should do better than that!
If anything Jennifer as the sun to Brad needed to mature a bit. The Sun person can be rebellious towards the Saturn person, feeling confined by their expectations.
Saturn does various things in a relationship.
1. Does give endurance, though duty often stifles feelings. So can be cold or better suited to a business relationship. All long-lasting bonds need a smidgeon of Saturn but not too much.
2. Creates blocks to the relationship getting off the ground at all, usually adverse circumstances.
3. Too much work eventually pulls it apart.
4. Liz Greene says when one person’s Sun meets another’s Saturn that’s when we are faced with our shadow. That is highly uncomfortable and usually leads to an emotional shutdown. Not a good recipe for a long term mutually supportive relationship, where the other’s needs and individuality are nurtured.
5. It may have suited the old style Victorian marriages where the Saturnine husband, ruler of the household, laid down the law and acted as schoolmaster/father to the feather-brained wife.
6. In Brad Pitt’s case he picked two wives with their respective Saturns in hard aspect to his Moon Venus and JenniferA’s Sun is conjunct his Saturn. And his Saturn was on the cusp of Angelina’s 8th (or 7th) – neither of which is exactly singing, dancing and ecstatic.
So to go back to the top. Some Saturn is crucial; too much is a passion killer.
i read in a old synastry of jennifer and justin that his birth time is 6:00AM… iirc they had a good synastry, with planets in the 7 house of each other. btw i’ve always found jennifer and justin a better match than with brad
HIstory has proven you wrong.
Delia, yeah I think Jennifer’s Aquarian sun tells the entire story and she should heed it, and not waste her time on long-term relationships.
she has a libra rising – i think she’ll like to be in a long-term (living together) relationship
She likes to be free, maybe she should accept that about herself. Not all of us are right for marriage.
so what kind of man would be a “match” for her…? Better question: what kind of chart would mesh well with hers?
