Curious of the outcome of the Colombian peace-talks. The South American country is to have a referendum on october 2nd on the peace deal after long negotiations at Cuba by the Colombian president Juan Manuel Santos and the leadership of FARC. The population of Colombia seem tired of the +50 year long civil-war between the Colombian state and FARC and also other violent groups, such as criminal narco-trafficos and paramilitary-forces that has been dragged into the conflict.
Marjorie, the focus has been on the presidential race, but it is likely that the Congressional races and in particular the Senate race may prove to be most decisive, especially if it helps decide the future of SCOTUS (the Supreme Court). Do you see anything interesting in the stars for the 115th Congress, the Senate and the Supreme Court?
