Even a Fox news presenter accused the Attorney General William Barr of acting as if he was Trump’s defence lawyer rather than the nation’s senior law officer, when he gave a press conference effectively in support of Trump before releasing a redacted copy of the Mueller Report.
What’s interesting despite all the hollers of ‘no collusion’ and ‘no obstruction’ is how dire Barr’s chart looks. He’s walking into a shedload of misery from May 1st till mid-August with tr Neptune opposition his Mars/Saturn midpoint which Ebertin describes as ‘waning powers, self-torment, a grievous loss’. And more woes and depression from mid May onwards. He may have health issues due to strain. These influences repeat on and off till late 2020. His term chart, 14 February 2019, is starkly explosive with Pluto opposition North Node square a Mars Uranus conjunction – and slippery with a focal point Neptune.
His relationship chart with Trump has a friendly composite Sun Venus and a chained-together Saturn Pluto – all looks calm on the surface until next year but underneath on the midpoints this May to August is edgy in the extreme with losses and additional pressures running alongside, all of them rolling into 2020.
Mueller looks deflated at the moment but picking up more enthusiasm and success after mid May onwards. His relationship with Barr is exceptionally pressured at the moment and there’s movement of a jolting variety on both his relationship charts with Trump and Barr come July onwards. So there’ll be more to follow.
Trump himself has tr Pluto in the depressing and discouraging opposition to his Saturn till mid May, repeating till late 2020; with the deeply frustrating and enraging tr Pluto opposition his Mars/Node at the same time.
He’s now facing the blowback to his overuse of ‘fake news’ since the public now don’t believe what’s being handed out to them about his shining white innocence. Not even Fox. The gods of irony are chortling.
sanders?
Biden?
Hilary????
10 more years???????????????????
Mueller did not “chicken out”. Mueller’s reputation is strong for several reasons, one of which is the capacity for sound judgements. Seeing the bigger picture so to speak. Mueller is being strategic, similar to the strategy of not wasting time issuing a subpoena to force Trump for an interview, which was highlighted in the report. Mueller doesn’t want to appear definitive because he knows this may trigger overzealous congress folk into an Impeachment frenzy, which at this time would create turmoil, especially since the polls don’t indicate the electorate is clamoring for it yet. The strategy is a slow burn by presenting the evidence to the public and letting them decide. If the majority say impeach, the polls will indicate this and then congress would have their mandate to start impeachment proceedings. If the polls remain as they are now after the Mueller report has been fully digested, then it simply means the majority of the electorate may not feel the details are worth the impeachment upheaval and would rather make their votes speak at the General Election.
Bottom line, the fundamental of a democracy is Majority Rule! The final decision is with the electorate. That’s Mueller’s(most likely) strategy to lessen the likelihood of a crisis.
Bottom line is the final decision belongs to the electoral college. Otherwise we would have President Hillary Clinton, who the majority of Americans voted for in 2016, Troy.
Dear, we don’t need your constant partisan belching of Republican gas-bag propaganda points. Everyone has been playing nice with you and it’s gone to your head. We have a right to note our insights without your incessant interjecting. Stay calm, Troy. You couldn’t even let Marjorie Orr voice her opinion, which is based on her vast knowledge of astrology and human nature.
Mueller bent the knee to Trump. As Patrick noted, you could see it on his face after he dropped off the report.
Enjoy your “Republican Spring”, dear, because astrologically, there is going to be a swift summer leading to a fall. Then, “Winter is Coming”.
Lol I’m clearly calm dear. Here again, passion and emotion overriding logic and rationale. I’m pretty sure I wasn’t attacking Ms. Orr so no need for a defender/s. I’m merely pointing out one should avoid casting aspersions on another individual’s resolve out of frustration. Mueller’s a highly decorated veteran and the most accomplished FBI director; achieved by having a steely spine and a certain wisdom. As a result, individuals such as he don’t make cowardly moves. And trying to read his face is akin to reading a wall or a rock lol. Mueller generally looks tense. As I stated in other ways, Mueller is playing the long game! This is not about proving who’s tougher. He presented the facts to the people without putting a thumb on the scale like unwise Barr. Congress must now decide via the “will of the people” as to how to proceed. Notice Mueller’s is not being hailed a hero or overly vilified by either side? That’s good. It means his integrity remains as solid as ever.
You’re right about winter approaching for Trump and his minions, and Mueller’s strategy will be borne out as I’ve alluded to in previous conversations in this thread.
For the record, I’m neither Republican or Democrat as I’m not American. But I do lean to Democrat ideals. I think objectively and try to avoid emotion driven reasoning.
No panics in any direction. My understanding is that Mueller had a precis at the head of every section for publication which Barr then blithely ignored and gave his sweeping exoneration flannel. There seems to be dispute among the US legal fraternity about whether Mueller whiffed out on the obstruction question. The problem with playing the long game or being too subtle is that it all gets buried under tons of debris and the conveyor belt of the news speeds on – and it all gets forgotten with the wrong impression left.
Marjorie,
Amen! Well stated, as always.
Trump keeps getting away with murder, if only by a hair.
Hello;
there was a bus accident in Madeira, killing 29 people. What can see you see explaining this, astrologically?
The article:

Thank you.
Not much of note. The axis of the chart is all Zero Cardinal, with Libra rising – maybe just the Saturn Pluto conjunction being close which is fairly destructive. But Mars wasn’t much in play.
So far what I have read or heard from the Mueller report has been in the New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Bob Woodward’s Book, on Shows like Rachel Maddow, or Ari Melber. The report that was released is very damning. There is enough for impeachment and maybe removal from office. The redacted report is easily available for download. There were photos of Robert Mueller after he dropped off the report and looked distraught.
Marjorie, I would dearly love to see anything you might have to say about Letitia James, the 60-year-old Attorney General for New York State. Her birthdate is published as October 18, 1958. She is aggressively pursuing Trump and his henchmen/women in New York State…where he doesn’t have the power to pardon. Many think he is in more jeopardy there than nationally.
Excellent, Thank You Marjorie! The American President has dug his own grave.
But what surprise will Uranus bring the US?
let’s pass around the Jiffy-Pop and see.
2 years and $25 million was enough to find out if there was any “there” there. No luck. That was Mueller, not Barr.
Donald Trump’s campaign director, among other people, is going to prison. Julian Assange, with whom Donald Trump’s son had regular contacts, will have another indictment coming sooner or later. There are also 16(!) ongoing investigations Mueller advanced to prosecutors.
There may not be an impeachable crime here, but the only viable defense Mr. Trump has left is that he is either too stupid or too sick to understand what’s going on around him.
Actually Mueller made a considerable profit since he forced Paul Manafort into forfeiting an estimated $46 million in real estate properties and cash as part of his plea deal.
I think Mueller did chicken out – lawyers on the whole aren’t keen to bring down governments – so he equivocated and handed it over to Congress to decide what to do. It’s Barr who has really muddied the waters.
I absolutely agree with you. Further, how could he have conducted a through investigation without looking at Trump’s taxes and bank records…follow the money. Mueller choked and did not do due diligence, or was not principled enough to quit, if he was being told who/what he could or could not investigate.
A Special Counsel has a mandate that’s governed by parameters set by his/her superior. If a particular evidence arises that’s outside the mandate, then it may be deferred to other jurisdiction to investigate just as the 16 farmed out investigations highlighted in the report!
Rules and guidelines are meant to followed as per statute. They are not and should not be driven by emotions dear!
Troy, dear! emotion has nothing to do with facts. Mueller’s mandate was to see if Russian had anything to do with the US 2016 election and any crimes arising out of that investigation. In order to fully examine what Russian would have gained by helping Trump, we must fully understand the quid pro nature (if one existed) via finance. That’s accomplished through examining tax returns and bank statements. If investigators (principled ones) are investigating a case, and their hands are getting tied along the way, they should resign or speak up. Silence is complicity in any cover up.
Being principled and intelligent doesn’t automatically equate to wisdom. There are many ways to skin a cat! Some ways will be more efficient with less mess. Mueller clearly gets this. Quitting because you don’t like the parameters is not ideal. Using wisdom to work around those parameters is key. Mueller is not an Independent Counsel like Ken Starr was, so he is answerable to a superior who set his mandate limitations. The President has privilege powers so rather than go through a messy litigation effort, he farmed out several investigations including financial improprieties to jurisdictions like SDNY, (which Presidents have no power over) to slow burn Trump’s powers. Remember a thing called Sealed Indictments?! Trump will not be President forever and may lose the privilege relatively soon! After which those Indictments will be unsealed and administered.
Frustration and emotions tend to cloud good judgement. Patience is a virtue.
Here is my understanding based on the more critical analysts (barely 24 hours after the public release) of why Mueller seemingly “punted” on this:
1 – The Congress changed the regulations about the powers of a “Special Counsel” after Kenneth Starr was able to spend 4 years and $40mn investigating the Clintons for a shady real estate deal and coming up empty handed.
2 – The entire presidency of the Orange One has included the US discovering just how many presidential behaviors are traditional or based in protocol rather than written in law by the first branch. So for instance meeting up with Putin without a translator is not really illegal but “legal adjacent” let’s say. The list is long. A man who has spent his life identifying then dancing on the razor’s edge between illegality and legality has just done it again only this time on an international stage — to the great glee of his deeply narcissistic personality.
3 – Most DC insiders I know say that everyone despises the guy be they from the right or the left. But they use him to get their way. I’m pretty sure Mueller -a Republican centrist with a widely recognized ethos – was eager to take down a president with none. But he also is aware that the right runs the upper chamber and will do for a very long time to come because of the electoral college and the urban/rural split. Impeachment, like constitutional change, demands a very high bar of support from the legislative branch. We Americans love us our bullies.
wrs10: the US has wasted far larger amounts of $$$ on very poor opportunities, like the Vietnam War.
The thought crossed my mind about, “Who Shot JR”. Will we ever find out the truth from Muller’s report? 😉
I think the JR mystery was resolved very early on the next season. So, maybe we won’t get the truth frim this report, but I read somewhere there are 16 investigations ongoing elsewhere.
