Michael Gove, Hunt & Javid – staring into the abyss

Michael Gove, a Euro-sceptic, might step in to replace Dominic Raab if he can renegotiate the deal, otherwise he may leave the Cabinet. Though Barnier says no renegotiation is possible.

Born 26 August 1967, Gove is a Sun, Mercury, Venus in Virgo with Uranus Pluto also in Virgo sextile a tricky, slippery and vengeful Mars Neptune in Scorpio. He’s looking trapped, enraged, stuck and depressed mid December to mid January 2019 and mighty confused at the same time; grumpy over the New Year; facing losses in February and will be spinning like a top at the same time with nervous anxiety. He’ll start to pick up from  April 2019 onwards as tr Uranus starts to trine his Sun and then his Jupiter/Pluto and Jupiter/Uranus, on and off till early 2020.

Another Cabinet possible as a May replacement if she does fold or gets pushed is Jeremy Hunt, 1 November 1966, a charming, smarmy Sun Venus in Scorpio square Jupiter in Leo.  He’s facing a setback late this December and despite a couple of Jupiterian lucky blessings in 2019 is facing a run of crises and catastrophes from February onwards.

Sajid Javid, the Home Secretary, 5 December 1969, is a Sagittarius with a hates-failure Jupiter in Libra opposition Saturn in Taurus; and a publicity-attracting Neptune square Mars in determinedly independent Aquarius. He’s feeling undermined and disappointed till late December with tr Neptune square his Sun. However he also has tr Uranus square his Jupiter in December/January 2019 which could give him a lucky break. But he’ll be bumping along a rocky road through 2019 with much discouragement and high tension.

Brexit is a poisoned chalice that no one sensible would want to pick up.

  1. May is like el Cid, dead and propped up on her horse, but leading us to oblivion.

Marjorie is there a prospect of the Conservative party actually splitting? Europe has been so toxic for so long, they are, de facto, two separate entities on this fundamental issue? Is Brexit an 8th house topic? Did you write that area of the UK chart is taking so much strain at the moment? When will that strain lighten can you see? Cheers….

    • Not Marjorie, but to me, this is such a complex issue! Brexit is affecting many areas, really. International treaties are mostly 7th house, legal affairs 9th house, trade and logistics 3rd house, Parliament 11th house, health care (an argument brought up by Brexiters repeatedly) 6th house .

But, if one wants to see how people *feel* about this, it’s worth to notice The UK 1801 chart has Moon 19 degrees Cancer, and that is currently being hit by Pluto. National Ethos will change, and the change will be drastic. I’m thinking about the last hard Pluto aspect to The UK Moon, and that was in the late 1970’s Thatcher years. Before that, there was Cancer conjunction in the late 1920’s. Women gained full voting rights, especially unmarried women under 30, and there were plenty of them because of demographic gender disparity caused by the Great War. Liberal Party or Parties were annihilated and the current two-party system consolidated. So, political turmoil in The UK won’t be over with Brexit, Deal, No Deal or (unlikely) Remain.

Michael Gove was one of the candidates to replace David Cameron, wasn’t he? It didn’t go well then, although I can’t remember why (I also was on Holidays with shaky wi-fi). I just don’t see how it would go better now, since agree with her or not, Theresa May has shown she has nerves of steel. And it seems this is something British people appreciate, whether or not they agree with her.

  3. None of the above would be my view and I expect also the view of a lot of British voters.

The Tory party currently really only has a choice of two Prime Ministers – Theresa May or Jeremy Corbyn. A lot of Conservative MPs might not be keen on the former but how many of these Turkeys are going to vote to be slaughtered at the polls, particularly as it mightaut a man in power will take their wealth as well as their jobs.
