SpaceX IPO -wishing and hoping

The money men are grinning like Cheshire cats and Elon Musk salivating in being the world’ richest man as the Space X IPO was three times subscribed and Musk became the world’s first trillionaire.

The FT remarked acerbically: “The bankers convinced investors to believe in a sci-fi strategy, overlook steep losses and hand full control to Elon Musk.” “As a strict business proposition it is still a very long way from justifying the $2tn-plus price tag.”

The SpaceX IPO opened on 12 June 2026 at 9.30am New York, with Uranus conjunct Sedna trine Pluto sextile Neptune. Very much of the new innovative era though with that sugary sweet Jupiter Venus conjunction in Cancer which I would not rate for its financial acumen.

The meaning of the Uranus-Sedna conjunction is obscure joining innovation to betrayal/past trauma and the will to survive. Various interpretations on the net tend to be high flown and overly positive. It remains to be seen how it will manifest.

SpaceX, 14 March 2002, with its Jupiter at 5 degrees Cancer being undermined by tr Neptune square in 2027 as well as damped down by Solar Arc Saturn conjunct in 2028, followed by a devastating tr Pluto conjunct the Neptune in 2029/30, may find it difficult to match the heady excitement of the IPO.

Elon Musk, 28 June 1971 7.30am Pretoria, South Africa, (biography) will be rattled by tr Uranus conjunct his Saturn ( opposition his Neptune) in early 2027 and undermined by tr Neptune square his Cancer Sun in 2027. With a more disastrous Solar Arc Pluto square his Mars in 2027/28 bringing high hopes to a grinding halt for a while, with more setbacks in 2029/30.

He lives permanently on the edge so he may react differently to certain aspects but it does not look like a smooth path up the golden staircase to Mars and beyond.

  1. I am posting this here as there is no comment post up at the moment, but the topics are related. Today is the 70th birthday of AI according to an article on Wikipedia. On this day, June 18, 1956, 70 years ago, the Dartmouth College conference on AI began in Hanover New Hampshire. Alan Turing considered the potential of AI earlier, but the Dartmouth conference was the first organized event to look at it. Any chance you could check out the charts, Marjorie?

  2. The S-1 IPO valuation for the float was issued on 20 May 2026 when Pluto at 4 Aquarius was trine trickster Mercury in domicile at 4 Gemini. Interestingly the SpaceX Mercury is also exactly conjunct the S-1 North Node at 4 Pisces as is the SpaceX Solar Arc Neptune.

The S-1 is the key to understanding how the market has been manipulated. Only 5% of the company’s shares have been floated at the IPO but the NASDAQ is treating it as worth 15% which means that index funds are forced to buy bigger holdings than the market contains thus artificially inflating the price. If the price is over 30% of the IPO price for more than 5 out of 10 trading days then insiders can sell 8% of their shares at that inflated price. Thereafter a further 7% of the shares will hit the market at each of 70,90, 105, 120 and 135 days after flotation. A further 20% will hit the market at the first earnings report and another 28% after the second earnings report. This means about 83% of the total shares will hit the market prior to the normal 180 day unlock. Investors in the IPO also face lock in terms that means they will be barred from future IPOs if they sell early. The only good news is that the S&P 500 refused to waive its rule about not listing companies at IPO when trading at a loss.

The Pluto at 8 Aquarius square Saturn at 8 Taurus in 2028 hits the SpaceX natal Neptune/Saturn trine and the natal Neptune/Mars square Uranus transits will hit the natal Venus/Chiron square.

I expect this will blow up as spectacularly as some of Musk’s rockets over the next two years.

  3. I was watching this SpaceX IPO debut on Nasdaq on Friday, there was a lot of excitement, well most people will make money now in the short term. Many years when I started teaching myself about trading, I have never seen anyone making money via short positions, in trading money is always made on long positions, maybe I will still see that person who makes money on short term positions. People who made money or saw real profits on this IPO are the ones who received remuneration as equities more than 20 years ago when SpaceX was starting. Looking at the current excitement, most of the new stock buyers are in for great disappointment. SpaceX 2002 birth chart has Saturn return now until 2028, which suggests an upheaval. It is on the 11th of social groups, which also suggests the masses being let down. As I said above profits on stock market are mainly made on long positions, not short, so most investors are going to loose lots of money in the coming 2 years or so on SpaceX.

  4. I don’t know exactly why his 1T news felt so meaningless. Even with his dozen or so kids it seems …pointless. Though 8th house me loves to think about inheritance ( ! ! ! !!!!!!)

Howard Hughes comes to mind for remote unrelatability. What links -and divides- the wondrously wealthy astro-wise? And what makes him more distasteful than fellow rich folk?

“On his Harmonics – his get-it-together 5th is creative. His leaving-a-legacy-for-history 17H is confident, lucky and notable. But so is his self-defeating, highs and lows 10th harmonic which suggests that wild overconfidence and lawlessness could be the undoing of him”

All I know ‘for sure’ is people who have driven Teslas gush over the interior set up. And there are pink ones in Miami.

      • So who are the likable geniuses and billionaire?

From physionomy there are some features of Musk that is quite harsh when it comes to dealing with people.

      • Einstein and Buffet came to mind.

The Oliver Sacks, Richard Feynman, Carl Sagan types – those who could sit on Johnny Carson’s couch and engage.

Perhaps non repellant is the right word. James Watson twinkled in public until he didn’t….John Lennon couldn’t do anything but delight in interviews…

        • Einstein, Oliver Sach, Richard Feyman all have a big forehead which showed their brilliance. With Einstein being the more prominent forehead. All of them shared another facial traits, non prominent cheekbones when young. Cheekbones depicts power. So no prominent cheekbones imply no interest in power. These people tend to be more genuine which is my own experience. But harder to meet in real life. People who wants power and control will manipulate, etc. Textbook interpretation is that prominent cheekbones R important, best to have it round with flesh covered. No sharpness. Mckenzie Scott fit the description, tact, diplomatic, grace.

  5. I always feel is a cancer thing. Where all they do is open up their mouth and talk and talk and things are done and laid on a golden platter in this case.

Only asteroid that I see that might be issue is Icarus(1566) at Taurus 12″12 on the IPO date.
