  1. “Former reality TV star Joshua Duggar has been arrested on federal charges related to the possession of child pornography…Duggar allegedly downloaded material that depicted the sexual abuse of children under the age of 12…Duggar, the oldest son of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, whose family was the subject of the TLC show “19 Kids and Counting,” faces two charges… He faces up to 20 years in prison and fines of up to $250,000 if convicted…”

What’s with these reality TV people? There was talk about him molesting younger siblings. While Mom & Dad were busy doing the Lord’s work, he was busy doing his own work.

  2. Thanks Larry, this is a project that I hope to research as well as teach myself something about mapping astrological charts.

I once spent ages researching Etta Place , further than most, to find that she was most likely to have been Agnes Madeline Adams born 1878 in Ontario. The Pinkertons thought so, hugely spent many months trying to get her expedited only to be thwarted by her nephew who became a prominent politician. As she wasn’t actually wanted for anything in the states, they couldn’t legally extradite her. It is something I regret most keenly that I never kept a proper record especially as it appears that access to the Canadian sites are no longer available. This is what happens when the family in question have prominent politicians. So I have learnt the hard way.

  3. For those who wish to see the visibility of the May lunar eclipse, pls check out “spaceweather.com” today for global visibility maps.

  4. I know nothing about astrology, but would appreciate any advice on how to do a chart on Dr. Seabury Bowen, who in my mind was implicated in the murder of Andrew Borden (Lizzzie Borden’s father) and his wife.
On the day of the murder he kept Lizzie drugged to the hilt on morphine. He was also seen burning papers. Afterwards ledgers were found with pages torn out. He was also associated with a mental patient, who was convinced, quite wrongly that he was Andrew Borden’s son and was seen in the vicinity on the day in question.

I happen to believe that the doctor owed a great deal of money to Andrew Borden and that he night have very well owned the practice itself, which would have left the doctor without the means to retire.

I have no doubts that Lizzie did it, but I think he was an accomplice. Any suggestions?

    • Two quick suggestions:

      1) Request a consultation from Marjorie, per posted rates.

      2) Check out basic astrology/chart casting books from the libraries.

  5. Nicole Sours Larson, sorry if I upset you, I was just pointing out that in areas that have become bankrupt, some might consider voting republican just to stop over spending in the public sector. And let’s face it not many people will admit to being a republican in democrat company. And there are plenty of Republicans that were thoroughly demoralised by Trump and voted for Biden.

Here in the UK it is left up to each party how they do things. With Labour, you might never get rid of a bad leader if say the unions or membership want him, even if his MPs don’t. With the Conservatives, the leader can be challenged each year, even if that leader is the PM.

If the Republicans had been able to say put up Mitch Romney then the election might have been less of a walk-over. But that is something we will never know.

But I do know that companies who have traditionally been based in California are leaving to be based in rural back-waters that you wouldn’t expect them to be.be. there has to be a balance or unemployment and inflation go through the roof!

I just wish that the Republicans would stop pushing the fundalmentalist Christian agenda, which from where I’m sitting has more in common with terrorism and bigotry and less to do with supporting business and making the country solvent.
I am not anti-Democrat and have no wish to offend those that are. But Biden, to me is not someone that I can see as uniting the people of your country. I hope that I am wrong.

    • @Linda, you didn’t offend me. It’s just that California has changed so much politically. Yes, some businesses have moved out of the state, but not as many as initially reported — and others have moved in. And Elon Musk, who made a point of saying he was moving to Texas, just as quickly moved back when he saw the gross mismanagement of the electrical grid.

I lived in England for seven years, from Sixth Form through university, and still follow British politics. Boris Johnson and his hangers-on are as incompetent and corrupt as the Trump crime family. And we’ll all require years to clean up their messes. What do we ever do to deserve them?

  6. Given that the Biden admin has officially announced that they plan to distribute the Astra vaccine to other countries as it won’t be used in the U.S(clearly a vaccine diplomacy political strategy was being formulated but at least it’s not the Trump idiots in charge) can you give an update on when Covid will likely diminish significantly Marjorie?
Maybe the exact time W.H.O declared it a pandemic could be used.

  7. David Hockney continues to delight and astonish. I found his thoughts on lockdown helpful.

‘It’s a mad world really but it’s very beautiful to look at.’

  8. hello Marjorie,
So.. just before heading off to bed, I read in the CBC news that Bianca Andreescu.. the Canadian tennis whiz.. has now tested positive for Covid and has pulled out of the Madrid Open!! My goodness this woman has had such bad luck for someone so talented. One big win a couple of years ago, was it, and then multiple “almosts”, held back by injuries etc. Very disheartening for her, I’m sure.
Wonder what shows in her chart?
Birth date is June 16, 2000 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. No birth time.

    thanks!

  9. On the face of it, Kaitlin Jenner seems an odd fit for the GOP. But you have to remember that ever so many towns and cities in California have become bankrupt over the years. They can no longer afford necessary things like the fire department or the police. So a Democrat that pushes hard on public spending will not be popular. Despite the fact they were Biden supporters in the presidential election.

You should also remember that Ronald Reagan served four terms as governor of California before serving two terms as president on the Republican ticket. There are a lot more Conservative voters in California than you might think. But as to who I think will actually win…I haven’t a clue!

    • A not-dissimilar point was made by a professor of political science on Twitter a few months back, just before the elections (I think). He pointed out that the population of Republicans in California is larger than the entire populations of some US states and that their basis is mostly in northern California, but because of largely Democrat voting southern California (and cities like LA and SF), the state has a Democrat-leaning bias. But a sizable population of Californian citizens do vote Republican.

Arnie was of course at least nominally a Republican governor, even if he was wild about Trump.

    • @Linda, did you say you once lived in California? The state is now solidly blue. The only way Republicans can win statewide now is by cheating, as with a low-turnout recall election.

Biden won California by over 62 percent. Trump and everyone related to Trump are generally loathed. The state is now majority minority, with a heavy Latinx population demonized by Republicans.

There are fewer Republicans now in California than independents and the number is declining as the party becomes harder right. Republican strength, such as it is, is in the central valley and rural areas, not in what’s traditionally considered Northern California, around the Bay Area, which is more liberal than Southern California.

The strongest of the now-four announced Republican candidates is Kevin Faulconer, recently termed-out mayor of now-blue San Diego, my home, but he’s a very bland pol with a few growing scandals related to his mismanagement, plus he’s now tied himself to Trump.

California is far from politically from the days of Reagan or Schwarzenegger. We seem to be recovering better from the pandemic thanks to the aggressive vaccination campaign Newsom implemented. Newsom has made some mistakes bug is far more popular than Grey Davis when he was recalled by the inept Schwarzenegger.

The state desperately needs to reform the recall and initiative process, which have been hijacked by monied interests with an ax to grind.

  10. So Kaitlyn Jenner has decided to run for Governor of California….as a Republican!!! Bwahahaha.
Besides the fact that this is an amusing oxymoron, paradox and quandary all rolled into one and nicely gift wrapped with a bow on top for Democrats, I’m curious how he/she is looking astrology wise. The “only in California” moniker jokes clearly apply here but going up against pretty boy Newsom, especially with such a candidate seems a fools errand at this time.
    What say you Marjorie?

  11. In Canada, Justin Trudeau appears to be heading to an easy re-election later this year. He had hoped the election would be held this spring, because the new Conservative leader is unpopular and his party is divided, but the current severity of the pandemic in Ontario has pushed it back to at least September. The backdrop is a gathering storm with Quebec over various issues. One of them is the monarchy. It is likely the crowning of Charles III will be resisted in Quebec. It is interesting that 2023-24, which you see as a turning point for the Queen, is when Pluto enters Aquarius, impacting Canada’s tight Pluto-Saturn opposition in its 1867 chart. Transiting Uranus is also nearing a conjunction with 1867 Pluto. I believe Uranus is the Quebec factor in Canada’s chart. When Pluto was in Scorpio opposing natal Pluto in the 90s, the country nearly broke apart. Trudeau seems to have a propensity for periodic scandal when he gets comfortable, and 2025 looks disastrous for him. Any thoughts?

    • @André interesting comments. Alberta too is a bit of a wild Uranus card, a distinct society resisting reasonable measures to curtail the appalling increases in covid cases.
