Prince William – a Neptunian mid life crisis ++ Camilla

Prince William celebrated his 44th birthday with a happy snapshot of himself in Welsh Guards uniform with daughter Charlotte.  It will be a less tense and withdrawn year ahead than from his birthday in 2025 when Catherine was still emerging from her illness. But he still has the tail end of tr Neptune square his Sun Moon conjunction which has been running since early 2025. Neptune will continue to square his Cancer Moon exactly now and on and off till early 2028. It can be undermining or confused where family and domestic relations are concerned; and low energy.

Alongside that he is in his mid-life crisis of Uranus opposition Uranus, running on and off till March 2027 which usually brings a restless urge to fulfil old ambitions which have been pushed to one side – and is a time for reviewing life to see what changes needs to be made to revitalise it.

Exactly at the moment he looks rattled and edgy with tr Pluto square his Mars/Uranus midpoint and downbeat with tr Pluto opposition his Venus/Saturn midpoint until later this month, returning on and off through 2027.

Money will be on his mind with his Progressed Moon moving through his 2nd house for another two years as his father prepares to open up on taxes paid by the Royals.

Jupiter through his 8th from now until August 2027 should oddly enough prove to his advantage financially – and will bring positive emotional changes as well at an underling level.

His Solar Return has a hard-working 10th house Sun with an attention-grabbing (and sporting) Pluto in the 5th which will also bring relations with his children closer. A friendly 11th house Venus Jupiter means he will not go unsupported by his wider circle of best mates. Moon in the 1st and Saturn Neptune in the 7th could hint at a caring initiative.

Much is being made of a supposed rift between himself and his father over the invitation to Harry, Meghan and family to visit this summer. There may be a ripple or two of tension with his father but nothing untoward in a relationship that is anyway always undergoing constant changes.

There is nothing to indicate a warming of relations with his brother or indeed Meghan within the foreseeable future stretching years ahead.

ADD ON: Prince William’s relationship with Camilla is sweetness and light compared to Harry’s relationship with her. She has a Moon, Venus, Mercury and Sun in Cancer which is OK with Will’s New Moon in Cancer; though admittedly his Mars Saturn Pluto in Libra will block her out. But their relationship chart is not unduly stressed so they will have learned how to sidestep problems.

Harry’s relationship chart with her is impossibly bad with a composite Mars opposition Uranus Pluto square Moon.

  1. I wish I had paid attention to my astrological chart and knew about the “mid-life crisis of Uranus opposition Uranus” back when, so that I would have understood why life became so difficult … You got me checking my own chart, and indeed that led to the biggest shake-up of the direction of my career, as well as an eventual recalibration of my oft unhealthy relationship with my mother. (I have an Aquarian ASC, she has the sun in Aquarius). Just prior, Neptune had been in Capricorn conjunct the ruler of my MC (Jupiter), leading to confusion as well, and now it was also in Aquarius along with Uranus. I stepped back to figure out what I really wanted to do, which was that it needed to be for a cause I believed in, as I left the corporate sector and went into non-profits. (once Neptune cleared, I also realized that the actual work was still the right one, just not in the right scenario).
It took many more years to find the right place that combined all my skills and interests.

(In another example of how events appear to be suitably timed astrologically outside our personal agency, I noticed that my Venus is conjunct my natal Venus in my 6th house, at the time that my supervisors and colleagues gave me a very kind farewell sendoff – it was really nice to be finally appreciated. Whether it’s the “right” person for the time – even when that person is a terrible tyrant – or the time for the person, astrology tells us something about the way the universe works)

  2. Can you look at William and Kate’s relationship as well.. they seem to be headed towards a cool phase in their relationship and I wonder if that’s due to transitioning to king/queen. Thank you for not focusing on Harry and Meghan when doing the charts of other royals.

  3. 44 is a 9th house profection year. There has bern speculation about his faith do I wonder if we will see more on that front. Whole sign his 9th is Leo ruled by the Sun so Charles featuring too. In his last 9th house prof Charlotte was born.

  4. Yes, I wonder how he truly feels about Camilla. Diana called her a Rottweiler because Camilla would not let go of her attachment to Charles. Funnily enough Camilla has a tenacious Cancer stellium and Leo rising conjunct Saturn and Pluto. I think her rising sign could fall in William’s eighth house.

  5. I wonder if this photo is prophetic as many have speculated that Charlotte will succeed her father instead of George for whatever reason.
However with the current downsizing of the monarchy there won’t be much left for Charlotte and I believe that the appearances of the royals at the events for their respective patronages is about the only things that make the monarchy worth defending for monarchists.
As for William I am sure that he will take whatever royal titles from Harry, Meagan and their children as soon as he becomes king and will probably send Camilla to the Tower of London where she will live out the rest of her days because William seems petty.

      • Some have already speculated that George will abdicate due to people speculating on his future sexual orientation which disturbing.

    • No astrology, but Charlotte looks born to be Queen, while George looks like he’d rather do something quiet, personal and artistic.

    • No astrology, but you may find it worthwhile reading up on the actual role the monarchy plays in a constitutional monarchy. It separates state and politics, hence the police, judiciary and military are formally headed by the monarch, not Parliament and are not a political tool. The monarch is also meant to act as a politically independent advisor to state officials and meets with both the UK and Commonwealth realms prime ministers on a regular basis (UK PM weekly). The monarch acts as the most senior UK diplomat and as security reader #1. The rest of the RF have formal roles only insofar as they represent the monarch and have no (as in zero) authority in their own right except as codified by Parliament via appointment as Counsellor of State. Obviously the PoW has a bit more oomph as the heir, but their role is still only as adjunct to the monarch. Harry is genuinely irrelevant now he no longer formally represents the Crown. Charity work is the most easily digested public aspect of the monarch’s and RFs role for people with little to no understanding in what a constitutional monarchy is or does.
Regarding Camilla, if she outlives KC3 she will of course be Dowager Queen Consort, and will most likely return to her personal, private estate, bought long before she married KC3 and which she visits frequently. I suspect she will happily embrace a quiet private life. As for William? I think surviving Harry, MM, and their media assault has been a hard road but has been the making of him as a future King.
