Prince Harry & Meghan – family dynamics grating

Harry and Meghan are moving house to Windsor in preparation for the baby with hints of grandma Doria moving in. The media rumour mill is atwitter, pointing to a rift between Harry and William, followed up by – no – it’s between Kate and Meghan.

The two brothers were always close, more so after the death of their mother. Their relationship chart has an affectionate composite Sun Venus conjunction in an adventurous trine to Jupiter Uranus and a competitive square to Mars.  But it has been sagging since May 2017 when Harry’s relationship became more serious as tr Neptune squared the composite Moon.  At the same time tr Uranus was starting to oppose their composite Pluto turning their relationship upside down and is now opposing the composite Saturn into early 2019 for high tensions. One might surmise William didn’t approve of Harry’s choice of bride. No doubt they’ll come back round in time but it may be a few years before it settles.

Meghan and Kate aren’t an easy match since Meghan’s Moon Saturn Jupiter is conjunct Kate’s Mars and Meghan’s Mars is conjunct Kate’s Cancer Moon and opposition her Sun which will make it scratchy and competitive. Their relationship chart reflects the synastry with an irritable Moon Mars in an undermining trine to Neptune sextile Pluto; a controlling Sun Pluto; and a one-upmanship Jupiter Pluto.

Prince Charles almost certainly finds Meghan easier company than Kate with a composite Sun Mars Venus in their relationship chart. But Harry and Meghan are further from the throne and less likely to trigger his sensitivities about being upstaged, which bedevils his relationship with Will and Kate.

  1. MM appears disingenuous and “high” over the status she now has. I don’t get the feeling that she is truly in love with PH and now has secured her position with a child. Of course this is how I see it from my point of view. What surprises me more is that the Queen didn’t insist they live together for a year before becoming engaged. Long distance dating for 18 months and right to engagement. Marjorie, what showed up in his chart? I remember you writing about when Kate met William and how profound that was for Kate. Anyway, W & C were a couple for years and lived together for a year (?) before engagement. If I were QE I would have said marry now and you do so with no title. I wonder what that outcome would have been!

  2. I think in law mixes are often tricky, I do not think the situation unusual at all that there would be tensions. I do not think Prince William has it in him to be jealous of his younger brother, who has lost some popularity since marrying. The big hit for me is the Duchess of Cambridge, wonderful woman.

  3. Maybe there’s some jealousy from William towards Harry, who is, reportedly, surpassing even The Queen in popularity? William has all that Cancer, after all, and is bound to be rather needy emotionally. In fact, he (and George) seem often outliers in Royal Family on this respect, having inherited more from Diana astrologically.

Also, I have to mention that in that official photo for Charles’ 70th birthday, the ones I like the most are Camilla and Charlotte. There’s a genuine affection here, and I suspect Camilla is really very good with children. It’s also a very different picture than the one painted by newspapers in the late 1990’s.
