For a brief day it looked like the ‘retirement’ of Prince Andrew was going to be a fudge with himself plus his pantomime-dame former wife turning up at Buckingham Palace where he evidently still has offices amid talk of him continuing with his entrepreneurial pitch from Buck House, never mind getting continuing support from mama out as a riding companion. Then brick by brick it all started to tumble with his resignation from multiple charities, Universities, English National Ballet and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and finally today his departure from his flagship business project PitchPalace.
It now looks like a much more final guillotine, mainly via public and business pressure, though ousting him from the palace might be an idea. Word is that he will still receive a private income from the Queen though that won’t support the lavish lifestyle he’s been used to, nor the funding of two daughters and extravagant ex-wife; and his international ‘business’ opportunities as a fixer will diminish sharply. All of which raises questions of what next for Beatrice and Eugenie and Sarah?
Sarah, 15 October 1959 9.03 am London, looks fenced in, trapped, frustrated and fearful over the next three years with tr Pluto square her Libra Sun, Sun/Mars midpoint then Mars in 2021/22. She has the devastating Solar Arc Pluto conjunct her Neptune also exactly now with the nerve-stretched tr Uranus in opposition through 2020 as well. Plus a jolting Solar Arc Uranus conjunct her Sun exact in six months’ time, then moving across the midpoint and on to Mars over the next four years which will be a longish phase of insecurity and forced change. Her Progressed Moon is also going through her 8th starting now for two years plus ahead which tends to be stressful, seeking new values and can feel like being in purgatory.
Princess Beatrice, 8 August 1988 8.18pm London, is a Sun Leo square Pluto and thought to be closest to Andrew. She’s getting married next year but it looks very high stress with tr Saturn Pluto conjunct her Mars/Pluto midpoint – setbacks, crises and disasters. She will have a few enthusiastic patches but generally will be feeling the strain with the Saturn Pluto conjunction moving through her 12th.
Eugenie, 23 March 1990 6.58pm London has a 6th house Aries Sun and the triple conjunction Capricorn in her 4th – so she experienced her childhood as very erratic, unpredictable and hard work. She has the downbeat tr Pluto conjunct her 4th house Saturn in 2019/2020 – so family problems loom large; and her 4th house Mars in Aquarius is also being stirred by Solar Arc Uranus conjunct in April/May and then tr Uranus square in June 2020 – which will be nerve-wracking, irritable and could be connected again to family/father. She doesn’t look any more light hearted in 2021/22 either.
All of them have depended on Andrew as the money tree and the entrée to the charity circuit of endless functions, never mind holidays with wealthy friends abroad who appreciated the Royal connection. Once that gets tainted, their lives will shrink considerably. And the Daily Mail has clearly no intention of letting up the pressure, so more will undoubtedly come out about where his Andrew’s money came from and about the sordid Epstein connection.
Thanks Marjorie. what you say is enlightening. Andrew is indeed reaping his karmic debts though I agree with Hugh, I still feel he is too stupid to realise what he’s got himself into. However, i stick to my point that the parents of these young girls are also to blame as is our western society for allowing minors to be lured into such horrible situations. Also the fact that we all want to blame someone for the sins of the many, to have our own shadow side taken on and, like the ancient Jews, send a scapegoat into the wilderness to die. Lots of people have a dark secret hidden away.
Victim shaming is unhelpful. He is a 59 year old man and needs to take responsibility for his actions as do the rest of us. Agreed he’s a a thick as two short planks , and that’s harsh on the planks, but that’s no excuse. He is surrounded by highly paid and professional advisors and if he’s too dim to listen to them, he’s a moron
All of this blew up in 2011, when Andrew’s many murky associations, and Sarah Ferguson’s desperate need (and greed) to raise money were in the spotlight. She did not have a divorce settlement, unlike Princess Diana. Andrew has allegedly borrowed money for Sarah from other dubious sources, as well as Epstein. His daughters reportedly suffered from all the publicity at that time. Neptune had just arrived on Andrew’s Pisces Sun. Saturn was square the UK Moon in Cancer that year, now it is opposing that Moon. The timing is interesting. The Queen protected Andrew then, but it seems as if that was a big error of judgement. It appears that Andrew has never been accountable for his choices or actions. There is undoubtedly much more to come, unless it can still be suppressed.
I agree, there is more to come, he is finished and I believe the monarchy is badly damaged. Pluto in Capricorn, the sign of hierarchy is really exposing the corruption of this edifice.
Astonishing to see Ferguson chauffeured outside BuckPal the other day, waving, grinning and gurning. Most inappropriate behaviour I thought, considering the gravity of the situation.
One wonders how life for Prince Andrew would have turned out if he had married Koo Stark rather than Sarah Ferguson. The suspicion is the latter has had a not insignificant role in prompting some of his less salubrious activities around money over the years. Incidentally the tales about Andrew’s activities with Epstein are uncannily similar to some of the stories recounted in the press about Sarah Ferguson’s father, Major Ron who had a penchant for upmarket massage parlours.
Makes sense. Though can’t quite see Koo Stark at the Trooping of the Colours etc. But there is something very odd indeed about Sarahk Ferguson who almost seems to have an affliction with those idiotic facial expressions and complete lack of inhibition.
And as fathers go – Ghislaine Maxwell ditto – given what an awful man Robert Maxwell was in his sexual as well as financial behaviour.
And to stretch a point Maggie Thatcher – her father was a well known groper in Grantham of shop girls – and she surrounded herself with some questionable types. Not so much Denis to whom no mud ever stuck but others amongst the Tories.

Her mother left the family home to live abroad with her new husband following her parents divorce in 1974. This must have taken an emotional toll on the teenage SF.
The father-daughter-husband connections for Sarah Ferguson are interesting (as they are for many of us of course). Sarah’s Libra Sun and Mars are conjunct Major Ferguson’s (10th October 1931) Venus and square his Pluto in Cancer. These in turn are close to Andrew’s Venus/Mars conjunction in Capricorn. Andrew’s Saturn is at 14 Capricorn, the Major’s is at 16 Capricorn, squaring Sarah’s Sun. There are more connections – a sense of familiarity, yet not easy. Sarah has that Mercury/Neptune conjunction….at some level she may struggle with boundaries (!).
I am no fan of Prince Andrew who seems a weak and foolish man. As one person commented he is he too easily duped through his vanity and ego centred ways. But should he be crucified by the press in this way? Do you truly feel he should be ground out of existence, have his own mother hate him and turn from him, Marjorie? The true evil person was Epstein and with him no longer accountable, the press and public are baying for a scapegoat in Andrew. He had sex with a girl of 17, she was no child. A minor in this country and the US but by law a girl of 17 can consent to sex here in the UK and marry at 16. My question is what was she doing as a ‘sex slave’ in Epsteins house? Where were the parents of these girls and why were they not alarmed when the girls went off to some island or allowed to be bribed with Gucci goods and allowed to cavort in this man’s home? We are all to blame in some way for this laissez faire attitude to young children, boys and girls. What hypocrites and judgemental creatures we all are.
If Andrew has made himself available for interview with the US authorities a long time ago and helped in any way he could to assist the victims then I’d have more respect for him. Epstein and Maxwell were the primary villains I think, Andrew has been above the law too long and karma is reaping what he has sown..it could and should have been easier for him.
I’m not sure I buy the naïve-innocent, easily-duped description. He has a controlling Sun Pluto; and a sexed-up Scorpio Moon sextile a Venus Mars conjunction (which appears in many of Epstein’s friends’ charts) – In Andrew’s case in Capricorn.
I agree the media can be feral when it comes to overkill on some stories. But some possibilities come to mind. 1. Payback for his arrogance over the years and very dubious associations, financial and other, for which he has never been properly brought to book. 2. When the media appear to be going over the top it is sometimes because they have inside knowledge which can’t be printed so what you see is the tip of the iceberg.
I’ve been struck over the past several years by various crime thrillers, one by a former Scotland Yard detective, which involved a prince involved in highly dubious sexual behaviour which were pretty pointed – and wondered how they got them past the libel lawyers. You’ll find the unprintable and unspeakable often finds its way into the public domain in the first instance via fiction. It isn’t proof in this case. But I wouldn’t be remotely surprised if more came out.

I know one instance of this; Val McDermid based the character of celebrity paedophile, Jacko Vance (in the ‘Wire in the Blood’ series) on Jimmy Savile.
I think though I wouldn’t swear to it: Roger Pearce: Agent of the State. Aah amazon helpfully inform me I bought it in 2013 – who’d have thought it was six years back. Hmm.
Pearce is a former Commander of Special Branch at New Scotland Yard, responsible for surveillance and undercover operations against terrorists and extremists, the close protection of government ministers and visiting VIPs, and other highly sensitive assignments. He was also Director of Intelligence, charged with heading covert operations against serious and organised criminals. After leaving the Yard he was appointed Counter-Terrorism Adviser to the Foreign Office, where he worked with government and intelligence experts worldwide in the campaign against Al Qaeda. Not a man who would have been uninformed methinks of all the dark secrets that never made it into the Daily Mail.
Mick Herron also had slightly similar in his latest: Joe Country. And a couple of his thrillers back he had a very-close-to-the-bone and hardly-disguised caricature of Boris Johnson.

It is no secret that Prince Andrew unpopular, particularly among many Palace officials. He also has upset plenty of other people over the years by his arrogance including many in the military where he served. Now that he is caught up in the Epstein case this history is catching up with him as it is giving many – including the press – who have been on the wrong end of this treatment a chance of payback. Ultimately they probably don’t care whether he is innocent or guilty of any sex crimes. The company he has kept and the way he has behaved is going to be enough to hang him.
At core though I still think that Andrew is a rather weak Pisces male. After all this is a man approaching 60 who still relies on his Mum (via her income from the Duchy of Lancaster) to keep him. Even now I don’t think he realises quite what a precarious position he has put himself in.
Contrary to natural justice I strongly suspect many people ( staff, cops, civil servants, lawyers, PR types, spooks etc) have been working very hard, on the taxpayers dime no doubt and for a long time, to prevent the sleazy parasite from facing the music. An ordinary guy would have been sewing mailbags by now. If Prince Charles is a primary mover behind the scenes of Andrews defenestration I wonder what his chart is showing?
I gather this might lead into cutting the size of Court. Swedish Court just did this with Prince Carl Philip’s and Princess Madelaine’s offspring. This is bit of a bummer to me, since I’m related to Carl Philip’s wife, Sofia Hellqvist from 17th century, and could boast a royal connection (that said, Prince Daniel too is of “Forest Finn” heritage, and I could find some connection there, too). But still what has been done in Nordic countries regularly.
Of the three, Fergie is still the one that has any Earth that’s not generational. And a survivor chart, overall. She will find her angle, for sure.
