Has a leadership chart been done for Zach Polanski? He became leader of The Greens on 2 September 2025.
I know Marjorie has looked at his birth chart but I can’t find a leadership chart.
I asked a couple of weeks ago what the effects of transit Saturn on the Sun for a woman might be – thank-you for all the responses then. I see in today’s news that Tess Daly (29Mar1969) has split with Vernon Kay so that is Saturn transiting her Aries Sun
The pentagon has begun releasing UFO Files, any thoughts on this dear Majorie? … is this also Uranus ingress into Gemini? … I am a touch sceptical. As a Gemini Sun, I am well aware how Gemini can play fast & loose with facts so I am looking forward to the added freshness from Uranus being in my sun sign, but also apprehensive what wild goose/geese chases may come out of it … hhhmmmmm….
Non astrological view, purely political, that is distraction from the important issues. So what are the important issues?
I agree. It is clearly a distraction from the War of Choice and the Epstein Files.
I dont know, these 2 issues don’t seem so pressing to me. Stock Markets are not affected by war.
Marjorie’s post on 12 Jan 2026 on Powell might be of interest now.
Ahhh so maybe the Warsh confirmation tug-of-war. ON a side note Jerome Powell has been amazing, courageous & unshakeable in the face of all the bullying by djt. I will go back & read the article.
Think keyword is Fed and whoever is the new incoming Chief.
It is still all about the money and debt. High interest rates = high outflow of cash to the debtors.
Reply to JB and L.Bear – and sorry I cannot post beneath your comments (an update has messed everything up somehow). Anyway, Marjorie’s post for December 26th, 2025 is also prescient and fascinating re UK politics. Re Reform she wrote:
“His Reform Party, 23 November 2018, has an opportunistic, over-confident Sun Jupiter in Sagittarius square Mars in Pisces so will be prone to sudden surges and then reverses. Tr Uranus will oppose the Sun and Jupiter in May and June and then square the Mars in July – and on. Highs and lows. It’ll hit the skids by 2027 with SA Mars conjunct the Neptune.”
I tend to think that now the party will have higher visibility in local councils, it will become more obvious how amateur they are – setting aside whatever it is they stand for, and looking at the grinding effort needed to run any local council. The same may apply to the Greens, who in their current version are also populists. Final results from Wales and Scotland will be interesting, putting the 1801 Union UK chart under pressure as Uranus enters the UK yod of Uranus sextile Jupiter, inconjunct Pluto, and Saturn crosses the Nodes.
Final result in Wales was called at 18:15 today, with Plaid Cymru becoming the largest party (likely coalition or minority rule).
Plaid were founded on 5 August 1925 (no time) in Pwllheli, Gwynedd. Saturn trining that Sun, and Jupiter crossing over it, from next month into 2027.
A wag on Twitter quipped “Well Plaid, Cymru”.
Well Done Wales!
God, I was horrified when I put the news on this morning to see Reform win by a landslide. I hope you’re right that the spotlight on them over the next few years will expose how useless they are and show how they’re likely to use their positions in an opportunistic way that doesn’t serve the people which will destroy them at the general elections. Fingers crossed.
Also horrified … how are peole voting for corruption on steroids … look at argentina now smh
As Jane says, a few months living under Reform-led councils with their record of toe-curling failure will likely result in a collective ‘buyer’s remorse’.
But yes, it beggars belief.
My non-astrological question is, with nationalist parties in power (admittedly in coalition) in all the devolved legislatures, and Reform (arguably an English nationalist party), is the *United* Kingdom coming to an end?
It is worth remembering that the Pluto Return that has just passed the US (4th July 1776) will be heading towards France (1789-1792 – take your pick of year) and the Act of Union with Ireland (1st Jan 1801) that formed the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
Uranus Returns are also on their way to the countries and organisations formed in the immediate wake of WWII; the UN (24th October 1945) and NATO (4th April 1949), but also India (15th August 1947), Pakistan (14th August 1947), Israel (14th May 1948) and the PRC (1st October 1949).
That sounds like a lot of disruptions of borders/boundaries and reformations of states/countries in the coming few years.
The Pluto Return of the UK 1801 chart is roughly 20 years away.
Dear Marjorie apologies if you have covered this previously. Is Trump the embodiment of the US Pluto return? I know the timing is slightly out, I think transits can be like that. But he is to me all the characteristics of the shadow side of that energy: Plutocratic, poisonous, mafia-esque, deeply corrupt, sexually perverse, power obsessed, deeply manipulative and much more. Is he that from which Americas Phoenix needs to rise, completing the Pluto story?
What do you think about Angelina Jolie’s life recently? She just listed her $25M house for sale as her twins with Pitt are turning 18 this July. She is still in a contenciouss court battle with him. Read she may move back to Cambodia.
Reply to Zita – yes, seems like what was once quite entertaining is in decline. I can’t find an exact date for the first gala, which was a midnight dinner in December, 1948 (classy!). But fashiony Neptune was in Libra, and there was a more or less month long trine between Jupiter in wealthy Capricorn, and Saturn in stylish Virgo. It changed when Diana Vreeland took over in 1973, when Uranus was transiting Libra, so maybe the 1948 date works? The whole thing is looking horribly entitled and outdated, so maybe Pluto in Aquarius is working some revolutionary spell. Perhaps they should go back to the midnight dinner idea to raise money?!
Also reading Marjorie’s February 2026 post on the upcoming elections with interest:
“On May 7th tr Saturn will be approaching the square to the UK Capricorn Sun for a mood of gloom as the result sinks in; with an uncertain tr Neptune conjunct the Solar Arc Saturn. The one note of cheer is tr Jupiter conjunct the UK 10th house Moon which might suggest someone in the ruling classes is happier than expected”
Marjorie’s take, at least in the English council elections, quite prescient as usual.
Your comment inspired me to re-read Marjorie’s Feb post as well; it seems pretty spot on. I suspect Reform has now reached the apex of their popularity and it’s downhill from now on. My intuition suggests from mid October we will really see Reform plummet. I really should check the astrology to find the indicators, but I suspect self undoing as skeletons come from the proverbial cupboard!
The General Election won’t be until next year-ish, plenty of time for Reform to receive whatever the energies have in store.
Erratum: Next General Election no later than August 2029
The 2024 UK Election chart set for the polls closing is the chart I use for when the decision is made.
It had rx Aquarius Pluto rising. The words Keir Starmer mean essentially Dark Star and the man has a Sun-Pluto conjunction. He is the election Pluto. Pluto will progress into the twelfth house (the wilderness) between November 12 and November 13, 2026. The twelfth is the same place the Tories were in at the election. The progressed election Moon, which I take to be the people, is also changing signs at that time to a Leo Moon which is closing in on an exact opposition to Pluto. Early November seems to be a potential period for him to have a shipwreck.
Next fall, I think the headlines will be dominated by something that is going to take down Keir Starmer. Ultimately, as Pluto, he is going to the same place, the twelfth, as the Tories. Parliament isn’t even aspected at that time so I think whatever it will be it is between Starmer and the people of the UK.
The real issue is the UK election was held at the end of the old Pisces Neptune energy. The waves have changed directions and the 2024 UK election is a ship that has not oriented itself to face the incoming waves so it is being buffetted.
I’m American so I don’t know which of your parties best matches the new Aquarius Pluto, Aries Neptune energy but that is what I would expect to come out of your next election.
It’s probably too soon after the famous wedding to comment astrologically, but despite an ‘image architect’, Mrs Lauren Sanchez Bezos, now described as children’s author and philanthropist, seems to be supplanting our Megs in the who to hate stakes. She looked subdued at the pre-Met Ball dinner, despite the gushing tribute from Anna Wintour and turned up on the day in a dreary if exposing dress without Mr B, who may be cheesed off by his $10 million gift only attracting active widespread opprobium.
The Met Ball’s theme of Fashion & Art was singularly lacking in uptake by the guests. Beyonce, dressed in a weird creation of thickly encrusted skeleton bits staggered in with husband and middle aged looking 14 year old daughter, epitomised the generally tacky drift. A few years ago the Met Ball looked on the turn. This year confirmed it.
No astrology I’m afraid but it does seem very end of an era, Capricorn or otherwise, and I thought something other than wars, politics and the oxygen sucking Mr T would be light relief.
Anna Wintour desperately clutching on to Conde Nast, has taken the Karl Lagerfeld, Michael Jackson route of adopting a cartoon costume to hide the fact that she is showing signs of being mortal. Their clothes and accoutrements take them out of the usual parameters of ageing so there’s nothing and no-one to compare them with. She’s like Diana Vreeland who clung on for decades after the normal leaving date.
Will look tomorrow. Their wedding chart is something else. The gala did look v tacky.
Reply to Caroline – sorry I cannot currently post beneath posts on here. Marjorie posted Kemi’s Capricorn Sun chart in November 2024, and also the interesting chart for the Tamworth Manifesto.
Saturn’s closing in with a square to her natal Sun at the moment. I agree she can be impressive, and have noticed people who wouldn’t vote Tory all seem to like her. But I feel we are at a very chaotic moment, and people generally are fed up with the old politics. Since the pandemic, it seems as if there is more volatility and anger generally – I’ve noticed this in shops, on public transport, and in the street.
Does anyone know of any great astrologers like Marjorie who blog about current events and celebrities? I follow Marjorie and Jessica Adams. Interested in others!! Thanks all
It seems quite rude to go onto someone’s site and ask about who else to follow. Google usually answers those sort of questions.
With my luminaries in Gemini (Sun) & Sag (Moon) I always tend towards there is room for everyone’s thoughts. So here are some of my fave astro/news sites: I love Oxford Astrologer, although I find the new Blog very hard to navigate & have since read less. I am also Old School with TMA The Mountain Astrologer and every Monday’s Neptune Café. Also Old School: ASTRODIENST.com especially Liz Greene articles. Recently I have been reading the daily takes on Ruby Slipper Astrology (love the art gallery). I also read Mooncircles monthly for the full moons/eclipses. Hope that helps.
Thanks for Gangsta Snowball Marjorie! I seem to have a very tiresome Gangsta Squirrel targeting my window box daily in recent weeks….
Re upcoming UK local elections – I wondered if The Representation of the People Act, 2 July 1928, and the subsequent elections in May 1929 might be of (niche?!) interest. This was the first time we had universal suffrage in the UK, and equality between men and women over 21 who could then vote free from property or age restrictions for the first time. This era was a gateway to a period of what they termed National Governments, beginning with Ramsay MacDonald’s minority Labour government of 1929.
What caught my attention was tr Uranus in Aries, crossing the UK descendant and squaring the UK’s Capricorn Sun by 1929. Tr Pluto in Cancer was 3 degrees from the UK Cancer Moon (the public?). Now, in 2026, tr Saturn in Aries is square UK Sun, tr Mars squares the UK Moon, tr Jupiter is conjunct the UK Moon this week. Emotions running high? Saturn was squaring UK Sun in the spring of 1997, and crossed the UK Nodes in May, in time for the General Election that saw a Labour landslide. Those Aries degrees do seem to be sensitive. Perhaps we’re heading for a version of the 1930’s in our politics once again.
Just watched footage of the leader of the opposition Kemi Badenock shut down a heckler this morning. Not looked at her chart but I find her quite impressive and she clearly has a backbone.
She’s a Capricorn trine an energised Mars Jupiter in Virgo with Mercury square Saturn. Plus tree turbo-charged midpoints. Not sure what is going to be happening to her with Solar Arc Uranus conjunct her Sun this year. All systems change one way or another.
Her Leadership chart has an exact Mars opposition Pluto which is not exactly easy or hopeful.
Thanks Marjorie. I like her. A shame about her leadership chart but maybe that reflects the early struggles she had when first elected.
In true Cap style, she’s overcome early setbacks and as Jane says, people like her.
Rudy Giuliani.
Can you do a reading for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding on July 3 in Nyc?
Can a quincunx – 150 aspect(s) to the degree have a influence on a serious medical condition, not mental, not genetic.
I’ve read this site thoroughly, or so l think, and couldn’t find noting about quincunxes and a chronic medical physiological issues, that are not only difficult to bare, but needs constant care.
Partiality, the word restrictive describe it (if it has to do anything with it), but where to look for the exit/solution?
Nin, good question, but no easy answer. Medical conditions are generally associated with a house in the birth chart, which therefore must have an accurate birth time. Without an accurate birth time, houses can be entirely wrong and misleading as to health conditions. Health is mostly associated with the 6th house, its ruler, and the first house/Ascendant and its ruler, as well as the many possible interactions between the ruling planets, houses and aspects to them. Furthermore, progressions, midpoints etc. can also be relevant, and along with transits they can trigger conditions to manifest.
Quincunxes can be involved in situations that are difficult to diagnose and/or difficult to treat, but they are not the only aspects that can be problematic. In fact, for example, the whole range of aspects from “beneficial” planets such as Venus and Jupiter can be just as hard to deal with as Mars and Saturn. It’s the action of the planet and the specific way it relates to the illness that needs attention.
Jupiter, for example, tends to expand whatever it is involved with, including conditions like diabetes which is often related to an excess of sugars in the blood and tissues that the body cannot get rid of because the hormone balance is disturbed.
Solutions to such problems are not clear because the conditions are complex. Best to consult a qualified MEDICAL practioner first. Astrology can sometimes help to narrow things down, but it’s pretty hard to get a clear answer from most charts as to what is best to do because astrology is too general. If it’s a question of “medical astrology”, it should only be done by people who are qualified in BOTH astrology and medicine – and they are a rare breed indeed! Astrology is not a substitute for medical knowledge (imo).
Thank you soooo much for taking time to elaborate.
You’re on to something there.
Moon 150 Neptune – Neptune being the ruler of ASC. Pluto, ruler of Sun 150 Jupiter. Chery on top is Sun in 8th.
Diagnose took almost 2 years – biopsy was The Crown evidence. (it’s not cancer), just a rare disease, that makes havoc in the body, no cure, but must be treated to slow the progress.
Astrology for me is meaningful – I’m not trying to find a cure, just a purpose in life, or a little breeze of fresh air. Hopefully a some sort of way out.
Sorry for poor vocabulary and grammar – non Anglo-Saxon here.
Again,
Thank you
You might want to look into cosmobiology. In the English speaking world, the author Reinhold Ebertin is quite famous for his books on cosmobiology and midpoints
Thank you, l will.
Gangsta Snowball, the psychotic rabbit is hilarious … now I have to go back and watch The Secret Lives of Pets I & II again. How refreshing!
Just a thought … but maybe your Gangsta Snowball, the psychotic rabbit, Underground Leader of the Flushed Pets, is also one archetype of Uranus in Gemini? Very Aquarian (gang) Family of Choice.
And a motley crew they were. I confess I revert to childhood delights when over stressed and cartoons (the good ones) always cheer me up.
After the US Supreme Court’s recent ruling, Louisiana has suspended their election, and many red states are planning to put plans in to place that will ensure further gerrymandering. Blue states will respond in kind.
The major question I have is will I ever live in a US where my vote actually matters? The Electoral College is bad enough where the presidency is decided by a handful of states, but now it is getting out of hand.
Both sides are to blame, but I personally blame Trump more because he was the one who started this weaponizing of gerrymandering last year by telling Texas to redo its maps to gain seats. Normally, we do it every 10 years.
Will Trump succeed? Or will he fail? Is there any indication where a law will be passed that brings true power back to the voters, or should I move to a blue state where my vote will mean something?
@Allyn, I think battles over redistricting will continue until some sanity is restored to our political system. Voters have to reach the point that they understand how the Republicans have manipulated the systrm to screw ordinary people to gain/retain their personal power for their own enrichment and to benefit their overlords, the oligarchs/broligarchs.
I think Alexandria Ocadio-Cortez is right in this — that these redistricting wars will continue until both parties fight to a standstill and agree to disarm.
As a Californian I can attest to how well the independent redistricting commissions worked here. My husband was on the commission that redistricted our county (larger than seven states).and received near universal praise for the quality and fairness of their work and their balance of competing interests. (They were sued by only one small but wealthy special interest group — of about 5,000 to 10,000 in a county of 3.6 million people — which felt their wishes should trump all others’ competing representation, but they’ve lost at every level of the courts so far. It’s unlikely the Supreme Court will accept their case. And yes, they’re right-wing Republicans in an increasingly blue county.)
It’ll take a long time to resolve this. My best advice is to relocate if you can.
While we at the celebrities, I’m interested in the battle of all battles: Brad Pitt vs A. Jolie and Miraval vineyard. Looks like she’s gone to grey area there. Is it her Pluto?
Second couple, ex wife of Kevin Costner, Christine Baumgartner (4th March 1974.) wed her used to be “friend”, Josh Connor (12th December 1975.) Both divorcees, both with 3 children from previous marriages. Ceremony was held in Santa Barbara on 18th of October 2025.
Can you check Eddie Murphy ? There is a documentary about him in Netflix
