December 2018

The fiery Sagittarius Sun until the 21st will make for a communicative, restless and adventurous few weeks. Grand plans and ambitious schemes will be aired though not all will be practical or realistic. Sagittarius likes to think big, can sometimes be dogmatically self-righteous but is usually optimistic and good at inspiring enthusiasm.

Week one will start lively, flirtatious and perhaps argumentative but it won’t be boring. There will be muddles with a few projects not going to plan. Though the New Moon will sweep aside uncertainty and any failures for a fresh start.

Venus in passionate, secretive and intense Scorpio will be joined by Mercury for a few days, so there’ll be discreet liaisons and whispered heart-to-hearts. And Venus’s seductive persuasion will continue on into early January.

Just after mid-month there’ll be a need for perseverance, persistence and a hard push to make progress. By the 20th there’ll be sudden positive surprise which will lift tensions and provide new opportunities. The final days will be ruled by practical, ambitious and traditionalist Capricorn. It may not all be singing and dancing since shadows of a troublesome January cast backwards will damp more indulgent moments.

1: Venus in Libra square Uranus – emotionally excitable, not want to be tied down by possessive partners, sudden insights.

Mercury retrogrades into Scorpio till the 12th – sharp words. Stinging responses to criticism, good for research.

2: Venus into Scorpio till January 7th – sexy, sociable, wanting passionate intimacy, jealous.

3: Sun in Sagittarius square Mars in Pisces – fired up, raring to go, scattered, combative

5: Sun square Neptune in Pisces – kind, confused, low energy.

6: Mercury goes direct in Scorpio – communications delays, hitches and glitches ease off.

7: New Moon in Sagittarius – new beginnings

Mars conjunct Neptune – can attract glamour, publicity and pzazz if Mars fires up Neptune, otherwise it tends to bring a sense of panicky failure about plans dissolving.

12: Mercury into Sagittarius till January 5th – chatty, outspoken, directly honest, knowledgeable.

16: Venus sextile Saturn – charming in a business-like way. Work and duty before pleasure.

17: Mars sextile Pluto in Capricorn – depth understanding but requires considerable effort to push ahead and put plans into practice.

20: Sun trine Uranus in Aries – lively, new doors open, sudden changes, opportunities need to be grasped for anything new.

21: Venus trine Neptune – romantic, day-dreamy, kind.

Mercury conjunct Jupiter in Sagittarius – upbeat, mean well but promise more than can deliver, morale boosting.

Sun into Capricorn for four weeks – earthy, can be indulgent as well as ambitious, conservative tastes.

22: Full Moon in Cancer – pulled in two directions.

25: Mercury square Neptune – vague, evasive, crossed lines.

28: Venus sextile Pluto – sociable, persuasive, seductive.
