A sunny, sociable Leo New Moon opens the month with a sparkle and Mercury goes direct ending a few weeks of irritating hitches and glitches. Then there’s an enthusiastic and lucky aspect to Jupiter a few days later. After July’s critical Eclipses and challenging aspects it should be calmer and quieter. The first ten days has three planets in flamboyant, entertaining Leo so duty and the chores may not get much of a look in. Your sense of humour will rescue any tense situations after the 11th and your charms will help as well.
Then gradually after mid-month there’s a drift towards earthy, practical, conscientious Virgo. First Mars which will turn perfectionist and nit-picky until early October. Then Venus in Virgo will be less sociable, more reserved and helpful. Finally for the final week the Virgo Sun will get you into a rhythm and routine where work and tasks are concerned. Looking after health and fitness will be vital since you’ll drain your stamina if you don’t replenish your batteries along the way.

Jupiter into its own sign Sagittarius for a year from November 8 2018 until December 2019, then into Capricorn for a year thereafter. Sagittarius is sporting, active, well-travelled, likes foreign cultures and countries; can also be philosophical, thoughtful, well-informed and narrow-minded.
Saturn: In Capricorn from December 20th 2017 till 2020/21 – usually coincides with a time of some financial shortages and the need to push ambitions ahead with persistence.
Uranus: From March 2019 for seven years in Taurus – changing attitudes to handling of money, possessions and resources especially in agriculture and our attitude to nature.
Neptune: In Pisces from February 2012 for thirteen years – religious, spiritual, has resonances with Muslim history.
Pluto: In Capricorn for sixteen years from Nov 2008 till 2024 = complete deconstruction and reconstruction of global economic and commercial structures and systems, as well as major changes in way in which governments work. In past times of Pluto in Capricorn (approximately every 250 years) there was territorial domination on a grand scale by charismatic leaders and ultimately a time of culture, learning, justice and prosperity.
