Trump just signed the Crypto bill (the first of 3) in a ceremony at the White House (shown live on C-Span). Time was approx. 3:25 – 3:26 pm. Interesting to note in the event chart that the MC (10th house cusp) is 28 Leo 56′, within a degree of Trump’s Ascendant 29 Leo. If the time is accurate (subject to verification), the MC is conjunct the Part of Fortune. However, the Ascendant 18 Scorpio is square Mercury Rx at 15 Leo in the 9th and sextile Mars at 18 Virgo in the 10th. Mars is conjunct South Node in the 10th, with Mercury is retrograde in the 9th and Mercury Rx is not usually a good indicator for signing contracts, especially when resident in the 9th of higher courts and foreign influences. The Moon in Taurus (wealth) is in the 6th of health and domestic issues, sextile Jupiter (of big money) in the 8th of taxes, banks and other people’s money in general (including the treasury). It’s about money all the way. But other than the sextile to Jupiter, the Moon has no inner planet aspects.
The Sun, ruler of the MC, being resident in the 9th in Cancer, is opposed by Pluto Rx in the 3rd of personal finances. The Sun also applies to trine Saturn and Neptune – certainly a concrete, but at the same time illusionary accomplishment as Neptune is an untrustworthy partner. Lilith in the 1st in Sagittarius is trine Saturn and Neptune in the 5th (of gambling and children) in Aries. Chiron at 27 Aries is square the Sun at 26 Cancer. By progression, the Sun will be exact to the natal Chiron in a year, which may bring consequences.
Virgo, the sign of day to day money and domestic arrangements (as well as health) is intercepted in the 10th house, indicating it does not have much of a voice in the matter, which also fits with its ruler, Mercury being retrograde in a foreign territory (the 9th). Crypto, of course, is obscured as it does not have a physical domicile per se, and its holders are hidden by the technology and design. Venus at 15 Gemini in the 7th of partners and open enemies is precisely at the midpoint between Mercury Rx in the 9th and Ceres in the 5th in Aries. Uranus is at 0 degrees in the 7th and the MC is applying to square it.
I’d say this is a celebratory chart for Trump and the crypto lobby, whose joint aim is to establish structurally (Saturn) and legally legitimize crypto (3rd & 9th) by this passing of the 1st batch (of 3) of legislation. However, the rest of the chart and especially the Mercury Rx, are somewhat ominous. If the 1 degree separation between the signing MC and Saturn Rx in Aries in the 5th means anything, complications (when Saturn goes direct by progression) may transpire in a year or thereabouts.
Marjorie, your comments and insights into the other crypto related charts would be appreciated! I’ve looked at so many Trump charts that I’m becoming convinced he deliberately times these public events with astrology. The angles are often so (concidentally?) significant. Shades of Nancy Reagan? Crypto has potential to create much upheaval in the world, by funnelling off investment monies into dark corners where the public has no view of the holdings or the holders of same, which is precisely what crypto was designed for. Jerome Powell and other visible money managers of the world must be very concerned. There have been many warnings of the systemic risks.
Just something I noticed, and am wondering about – on 6th August Mars enters Libra, forming a kite with Aries Saturn and Neptune opposing, and trine Uranus and Pluto. Seems dynamic in air and fire, with Mars conjunct the UK 1801 Uranus in Libra. What does anyone else think about this formation? Be interesting to see how it might manifest.
I can’t comment on its effects but probably want to scroll on a couple of days to the full moon on Aug 9th when the kite is even tighter in effect; plus retrograde Mercury in Leo is joining in and of course the Sun-Moon. Meanwhile Venus is approaching conjunction with Jupiter in Cancer and only taking a wide square to the Aries-Libra planets.
Thanks GD. Yes it does seem to be in place for days, and I’m tempted to include the phase with Mars in late Virgo as well. The full Moon is conjunct UK Venus, square Neptune. And the mysterious Neptune/Pluto midpoint is conjunct UK Pluto in Pisces. Since there seems to be some kind of upheaval or revelation every week at the moment, I suppose this all means more awaits in August. Wasn’t there once a time when that was called ‘the silly season’, when parliament was on holiday?
Could you look at Stephen Colbert? His show just got canceled for calling out cbs re their bribe to trump to support the merger with I think paramount.

Surely does. I once had an excessively bad tempered mare who certainly had an afflicted Mars (I knew when she was foaled). And a very vocal Gemini tortoiseshell cat, followed by a clingy Cancerian Maine Coon and most recently an over boisterous 5th house Sun Jupiter in Taurus Weimaraner

I had a pair of Scorpio cats – loyal, loving, playful and strong-willed! Also most intuitive re humans – if they avoided someone it usually turned out to be a dubious person, best avoided by humans. Current rescue cat Taurus, and also very loving. But incredibly greedy, and rather bossy.
Scorpios need a companion. Agree Taurus eat non stop and are – ahem – dominant.
Cats can be intuitive. A black rescue cat I had, battered and abused, took one look at a prospective partner I had then and made his dislike known. Until I told him he might have to find a new home at which point he purred loudly and sucked up to the loathed one. Cat was right. He lasted longer than the partner.
Are Scorpio cats more sexual than others? Scorpio is usually said to be the best lover in the horoscope in those newspaper articles and such.

I’m sure you must be exasperated with all of the requests to write about Donald Trump. Generally speaking, I have been avoiding most of the U.S. political news this year because I don’t need the anxiety.
However, curiosity did get the best of me today when I read a clickbait headline from HuffPost regarding a hand condition that Trump has and is being acknowledged by the White House.
Apparently, according to recent reporting, Trump’s hand bruising is a benign condition that isn’t associated with any artery blockages. The reporting also claimed Trump underwent an echocardiogram and it didn’t detect any signs of congestive heart failure.
Frankly, I remain skeptical. Trump has always been very private and guarded about his health. Also, it’s ironic that Trump’s doctors always report him as being in “excellent health” when he presents the complete opposite in his appearance and mannerisms.
Personally, I’m inclined to believe that Donald Trump does have some degree of coronary artery disease…or possibly congestive heart failure based on his advanced age (he’s 79), his weight (he’s obviously obese), and his atrocious diet (which is supposedly fast food and sodas).
My Mother did mention something about Uranus hitting Trump (I don’t remember exactly what she said…and I refuse to look at Trump’s chart anymore [since my bias tends to get in the way ]) and this could represent Trump’s health AND things that art hidden.
At first, I assumed that manifest with the Epstein story. However, now this reporting about Trump’s hands makes me wonder if he has a hidden health condition.

Pluto entered his 6th house of health (Aquarius). It is retrograde until mid-October, but is still mainly in the 6th (his cusp is 1’45” and it goes direct at 1’22”).
Interestingly, JD Vance’s 6th house is also early Aquarius. The 6th as you know is also daily work; however, I’ve never seen it affect work without accompanying health problems. Others may have additional input on JD. I don’t know his chart that well.
It was just announced by the White House yesterday that Trump has a common vascular problem, in an attempt to explain his hand and very swollen ankles — which is most commonly seen in people with heart decease.
Venous insufficiency apparently. Which immediately brings to mind his Venus/Saturn in Cancer. Lack of love.
I also have lymphedema, and I do think it’s Moon/Cancer influenced. When I moved away from home at 18, I immediately puffed up with very swollen legs. I’m very sensitive to water in different locales, loving my “home” water of Lake Superior. I have a tight Moon/Venus conjunction in Scorpio on my Ascendant.
