  1. Hi Marjorie
I’ve noticed that you sometimes connotate difficult or problematic outcomes involving traditionally favourable aspects, trines for example. This admittedly if heavy planets involved, Mars/Saturn/Pluto and Neptune too. Are those energies usually negative irrespective of aspect and if so why do they tend to differ from the more positive descriptions? Also are more traditionally beneficial planets immune?

  2. Marjorie, (haivng probs submitting post),

could you look in to the friendship of Millie Bobby Brown (Feb 19 2004, Marbella, Spain, no time) and rapper, Drake (Oct 24 1986, Toronto, Canada, 2.31 am) – There’s a media backlash about some of her comments: ‘Speaking on the Emmys red carpet earlier this week, the Stranger Things actor was asked about the Canadian rapper. “We just texted each other the other day, and he was like, ‘I miss you so much,’ and I was like, ‘I miss you more,’” she said, adding that he is “a great friend and a great role model.”

High-brow newspapers like the Independent are questioning concerns. Personally, I don’t think there’s anything in it but it’s the “I miss you so much” text from a 31 year old man to a 14 year old girl which makes it inappropriate. If they weren’t famous would parents be okay with this? I’m not a parent so can’t answer it but have heard others say no way. Perhaps it’s just the times we live in and the industry she works in? She has hit back defending her friendship with Drake by stating on her Instagram, “U guys are weird… for real.”

    • Alex, The unanswerable or should I say as yet unanswered question. Trouble is astrology fits no scientific theory of the universe held at present – in my view that is science’s failure.
When I started studying astrology I knew I had to put the why question aside (not easy) and focus on how it worked.
There was a physicist who tripped into astrology briefly at one point since it explained events going on in his life. His thought was it might fit into theoretical physicist David Bohm’s theory of the explicate universe unfolding out of the implicate, which is an underlying layer of potentials and possibilities.
Most of the high IQs in this area appear to agree that the underlying reality of the universe is mathematical (whatever that means). It may be that astrology is one way of tapping into this underlying level. Certainly astrology deals in a range of possibilities rather than absolutes. That’s the only explanation I’ve ever seen that even begins to point to an explanation.

  3. Ms. Orr, why do you pick Auckland New Zealand for the location of your composite relationship charts?

Also, when I commented on the recent thread about the upcoming US turmoil, I mentioned my theory about the Electoral College and that I was going to chart their impact on the upcoming Presidential election. Had some encouragement to share what I found, but upon reflection, I don’t think that would be respectful. Ms. Orr, you are the only astrologer that counts on here, and you should always be the one initiating the astrological conversation. I’m content to follow your lead, and perhaps add a little into the mix as we discuss your insights.

    • Composite charts don’t have a location since they are calculated from the midpoints of the two individual charts. I think Janus software just put up NZ since that’s the default but it has no relevance.

For sure pitch in with any astrological thoughts you have – more than welcome and I’m sure most of us interested in US politics would like to hear.

  4. Could you look at Christine Blasey Ford, the professor alleging sexual assault by Brett Kavanaugh, nominated for the US Supreme Court? Birth info found online: “Christine Blasey is 51 years old and was born on 11/28/1966. Currently, she lives in Palo Alto, CA. Sometimes Christine goes by various nicknames including Christine Ford and Christine Blasey Ford.” https://www.mylife.com/christine-blasey/e60949399890

  5. hi Marjorie,
I am wondering if you have any insights on the trade agreement meetings between US and Canada? I’ve seen a few of these NAFTA agreements be signed in but none were as controversial as this one, nor as adversarial (at least none that I can remember). I’m wondering if this agreement will ever be signed with Canada or if the US and Mexico will make it a bi-lateral trade agreement.
    Thank you.
